Glenn Beck & His So-Called Facts By: Steve - August 31, 2009 - 6:30pm | All last week and again today Glenn Beck said he has the facts, and he is reporting the facts. Now watch these videos and tell me where those facts are, it's all speculation and predictions of what Obama is going to do, with no facts. Earth to Glenn Beck, speculating on a future act that you say is a fact, does not make it true, or a fact, are you so crazy you think people will believe these are facts, just because you say so. Beck: "I think all of us need to be Gandalf" and stop alleged Obama power grab." Beck suggests that Obama administration will use bombings of Canadian pipeline to justify takeover of oil companies. Beck: President Obama's "radical advisers," like "Communist" Van Jones, "are fighting a revolution." Beck guest Broden warns of "eugenics movement," "black genocide" that will show up in health care package. Beck: "There is a coup going on. There is a stealing of America, and the way it is done, it has been done through the guise of an election." And he says he is not a fearmonger, yeah and I'm Donald Trump too. That garbage is all speculation, it's all in the warped mind of Glenn Beck. There are no facts, just opinion, prediction, and total speculation. Ryan Witt Has Some Questions For Glenn Beck By: Steve - August 31, 2009 - 10:50am | I found this great article at the examiner.com by Ryan Witt, so I copied part of it, because it exposes Beck for some of the fraud he puts out. ----------- As I wrote in an earlier piece Glenn Beck's attacks on Van Jones made little sense if you do not also accept equally damaging attacks on Glenn Beck. I do not believe we should judge someone based upon their distant past or remote associations. However, if we do then we must also condemn Beck for his past and associations with known substance abusers. Instead, what we should do is analyze people such as Van Jones based on facts. While Glenn Beck says he uses only facts in reality he distorts facts in crafty fashion. Most importantly, Beck leaves out crucial facts that would help his audience to better understand an issue. Here are some of the facts Beck never mentioned in his attack on Van Jones. #1: As the video below demonstrates Van Jones was the co-founder of Color of Change. Color of Change just happens to be the leading organization behind a boycott of Glenn Beck. The boycott has had a real and substantial effect leading fourty-eight companies to end their advertising with Beck. This has left Beck with a very small and partisan sponsor list. Could it be that Beck is attacking Van Jones for personal reasons and not based on any real concern about Van Jone's policies? Since Beck is so fond of "questions" recently let me pose a question for Beck. Why, Glenn Beck, did you fail to mention to millions in your audience that Van Jones co-founded the organization behind a boycott of your program? Why would you not fairly inform your readers of a potential bias you have against Van Jones when you devote nearly half your show to attacking the man? #2: Glenn Beck also points out that Van Jones was a member of the Apollo Alliance. Beck further claims that the Apollo Group is a radical organization full of environmental leftists and social justice leaders. What Beck neglected to mention was that the Apollo Alliance also includes such "radical" socialist companies as Google and PG&E. Why, Glenn Beck, would you not inform your audience of the seemingly normal business influences on the Apollo Alliance? Is it possible in an attempt to demonize organizations and individuals you leave out positive information and only emphasize that which makes them seem evil? #3: Glenn Beck loves to mention the fact that Van Jones was arrested twice. Again though Beck never tells his audience that in neither case was Van Jones charged with any crime. Furthermore, Beck neglects to mention the fact that Van Jones actually won a lawsuit based on the illegality of his arrest in one case. Why, Glenn Beck, would you tell your audience that someone has been arrested without also being fair by pointing out the proven illegality of their arrest? Could it be that you are trying to mislead people in to believing someone is a radical when they are not? #4: Finally, Glenn Beck cites Van Jones past associations with communism and asks why the President allows Jones to be an adviser. Beck never brings up the fact that Jones has disavowed any radical associations he has had in the past and now has committed to working within the system for change. If Beck can change and be trusted despite his own past in which he described himself as a "liar and a dirtbag" why can Van Jones now not be trusted. All that Beck does to attack Jones is look to his past but Beck never points out current policies of Van Jones that in anyway tilt toward communism. Why, Glenn Beck, are you willing to give yourself credit for being able to change your life and advise people while not giving the same credit to Van Jones? Is it only conservatives who can change their lives for the better? Ashley Furniture Drops Beck By: Steve - August 29, 2009 - 2:20pm | After Media Matters for America noted that Ashley Furniture HomeStore advertised on the August 26 edition of Glenn Beck, they received the following statement: "Ashley Furniture HomeStore pulled its advertising from "Glenn Beck" as of Aug. 27, said Kendra Maggert, a spokeswoman for the company."Ashley Furniture HomeStore joins forty-seven other companies who have reportedly said they will no longer run ads on Beck's Fox News show. The Friday 8-28-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 29, 2009 - 12:20pm | The Friday Glenn Beck show was a summary of the week long series he ran, claiming to report the truth and give the facts about what Obama is doing. Except it was all garbage, with no facts, and all right-wing spin from all Republican guests. From Stephen Moore, to Phil Kerpen, to Rush Limbaugh, to Michelle Malkin. As far as I could tell, it was all opinion by far right nuts, who all hate Obama and everything he does, with no Democrats or anyone to give the other side of the story. Beck started the show with his usual 15 to 18 minute rant, with no guests and no facts, just his opinion. He pointed out that liberal bloggers nailed him for spelling the word oligarchy as oligarhy. Then he went into lala land, he said that is the only thing he got wrong the whole week, and the only thing they could nail him with. When virtually everything he said during the entire week was right-wing nonsense, with no facts. Beck spent the whole week spewing out right-wing conspiracy nonsense, about who Obama has working for him, and what they plan to do in the future. None of it has happened, and yet Glenn Beck claims he has reported the facts, where are they, what are they, does he even know what a fact is, I doubt it. A fact is something you can prove, when Beck says Van Jones is a communist marxist revloutionist who is going to do xyz, but he has not done it yet, that is not a fact, it's called a prediction. I guess Beck is too stupid to know the difference, or he is just a dishonest partisan liar, or both. Beck said he feels fear in the country, ummmmm yeah, from right-wing fools who watch you, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Limpballs. Then he claims he is not a fearmonger, when all he does is spew out these insane conspiracy fear tactics. And here is a great one, Beck claims that because the White House has not replied to him and disputed anything he said, then it must be true. Now that's funny, so if I send Glenn Beck an e-mail, and I say he is a far right lunatic, who uses right-wing propaganda to smear Obama, and scare people into opposing him, if Beck does not reply to me and dispute that, it's true. Okay, got it Mr. Crazy. That kind of argument is why people call him crazy, it's pure insanity. Beck says Obama is forming an army of communist thugs, who are going to take his free speech away, and put him out of business. That is nonsense and it will never happen, but if the White House does not reply to him and dispute it, then of course it's true, are you kidding me, how old are you five? That's something you expect to hear from a retarded five year old, not a man with a tv show. That is just crazy, and yet I would bet every one of the nuts who watch Beck believe it. Then he claims he is speaking truth to power, and that he is giving you the facts, haha, yeah right, and I'm karl Rove too. Beck even said it was scary that the White House does not respond to what he says. Really Glenn, you think that's scary. I'll tell you what's scary, you having a tv show on what is supposed to be a news network. What would really be scary is if the White House did respond to your insane ramblings, now that would scare me. It's like saying, they got a letter from a guy at a mental institution saying all these crazy things, but they did not reply so it must be true. Earth to Glenn Beck, nobody responds to people who are insane, that does not make what they are saying true, and anyone who claims it does, has just proven they are actually insane. Beck talked about some 5 point plan he has, step 1, fear not and speak out. Then he claimed Washington has been run by liberals forever, and that they are secretly turning the country into France. Ummmmm Mr. Beck, what happened to those facts you claim you have. The House was majority Republican for 14 years, and Bush just had total power for 6 of the 8 years he was in office. I guess you just forgot those facts, yeah that's it, you just forgot. You have no facts, it's all biased right-wing opinion and predictions. Where are the facts, there are none, just your spin, lies, propaganda, and biased opinion. With no Democrats to counter any of it, ever, not one Democrat was on the show all week. Here are some Glenn Beck facts he claims to report: -- The liberals call him names and attack him because he is telling the truth. And he claims only liberals are mad at him, when 47 Corporations have decided to pull their ads from his show, and most of them are not liberal. And those are a few of the facts glenn Beck claims to report. He even repeats this lame line all during the show, question with boldness, speak without fear, and give out the facts. I'll give him credit, he does 2 out of 3, which aint bad, excepr the one he does not do is the one that counts, give out the facts. Beck has no facts, none, all he does is speculate and predict what might happen in the future under the Obama administration, then he claims he reported the facts. My God, the man is a fool, there are no facts, just his opinions, and the opinions of the right-wing guests he has on. Then after all that propaganda, Beck had his good friend Dr. Keith Ablow on to tell him how to deal with people who call him names. It was just creepy, and sort of like an on air therapy session. Who does that, nobody but the crazy Glenn Beck. We do not want to see your therapy sessions on tv, do that on your own time moron. It's strange and creepy, and should be done in private. Beck told Dr. Ablow that he simply reports the facts and people call him names, then the crazy Dr. Ablow said I am your good friend and you are a good man, or some garbage like that. He talks to Beck real slow like he's a 5 year old, which he probably is mentally. All I can say is that it's just strange, and very creepy. Then Beck ran one of his crazy video montage segments, where he plays this scary type music, the kind of music you hear in scary religious movies, as he talks over it. It's like a video a 1st year film student in College would make, he has still photos of Washington and Jefferson, then it fades out to different things, like American troops, and the flag, and fire with text on it, just lame patriotic crap to make it look like he is a great American. At one point it shows a dollar bill, then zooms in to the "in God we trust" words, haha, what lame crap. And that was it, I'm still waiting to hear some facts. The whole show was just Beck rambling on about communism, marxism, and other ism's, lol. With no facts, none, except that he did spell oligarchy wrong, I guess that's a fact, but it's the only fact I saw in the entire show. More Sponsors Drop Beck & FOX News (48 So Far) By: Steve - August 28, 2009 - 1:20pm The Thursday Glenn Beck show was the same right-wing propaganda as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so I did not review it. But I do have more good news. SpendOnLife.com has pulled all of its advertising from FoxNews.com and ended their relationship with them. So they not only pulled their ads from the Glenn Beck show, they are off of FOX altogether. And more good news, ten more advertisers have pulled their ads from Glenn Beck's show, including DirecTV. This brings the total up to 48 companies who have pulled out so far. The companies who said they will pull their ads are: Applebee’s, Bank of America, Bell & Howell, DirecTv, General Mills, Kraft, Regions Financial Corporation, SAM, Travelers Insurance and Vonage. They have pledged to take steps to ensure that their ads don't run on Beck's show. Three of the latest defections -- Travelers Insurance, Bell & Howell and DirecTv -- join the list of advertisers who claim to have already placed Glenn Beck's program on a "do not air" list, but whose ads have been seen on Beck's program, apparently against their wishes. "We could not be happier with the results of our campaign so far," said James Rucker, Executive Director of ColorOfChange.org. "All 48 companies that have distanced themselves from Glenn Beck should be applauded for their stance." "We are still reaching out to companies whose ads we see during Beck's nightly program," Rucker continued. "Based on the fact that many of the recent ads on Beck's program are for gold coins and News Corp properties, it looks like Fox News Channel is struggling to place advertisements on Beck's show." Make sure you keep the pressure on the current Beck sponsors, it's working, so keep it up. The 48 Sponsors Who Have Dropped Glenn Beck By: Steve - August 27, 2009 - 12:20pm I thought it might be a good idea to publish the list of Beck sponsors who have pulled their ads from his show. Then you will know what companies you should do business with. Here are the 48 sponsors who have pulled out from Beck so far: Airware Inc. Ancestry.com AT&T Blaine Labs Inc. Campbell Soup Company Clorox Ditech The Elations Company Experian Farmers Insurance Group Johnson & Johnson Lowe's NutriSystem Sprint The UPS Store Verizon Wireless Walmart GMAC Financial Services Best Buy CVS Travelocity Re-Bath Broadview Security Allergan Lawyers.com Procter & Gamble Progressive Insurance State Farm S.C. Johnson GEICO Men's Wearhouse Sargento ConAgra Roche Sanofi-Aventi Radio Shack SpendOnLife.com Applebee's Bank of America Bell & Howell DirecTv General Mills Kraft Regions Financial SAM Travelers Insurance Vonage Ashley Furniture The Wednesday 8-26-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 27, 2009 - 12:10pm Beck propaganda week part 3 continued yesterday, it's an entire week of right-wing spin and lies about Obama and his so-called czars. And yet Beck said it was not about right vs. left or even about Obama. When it's all Republicans attacking and lying about Obama and the Democrats. Beck talked about a group called The Movement For a Democratic Society, and called them a spooky group, yeah that sounds real spooky to me, not. It's just a liberal group who believe Democratic ideas are better for the country. Beck calls them un-American communist revolutionists, simply because they are liberals who support liberal policies. But if you remember when the neo-cons from the Heritage Foundation all ran the Bush administration, and started the Iraq war for no reason, Beck never said a word about that, or had a problem with it, in fact, he agreed with them, and defended what they did. Now a liberal group is involved with Obama and suddenly it's the end of the world and the communists are taking over the Government. My God it's just crazy talk, and anyone who believes this insanity needs to be locked up in a padded room. Here is some no spin, Glenn Beck is crazy, ignore him like that crazy uncle we all have. Beck went to the chalkboard, then repeated all the lies he put out from Monday and Tuesday. He said all the Obama czars are communist wolves who are going to devour our Republic. Claimed Obama is going to silence dissent, admitted he used to be a dirtbag, claimed the Obama FCC diversity czar is going to pass new rules to shut him and Rush down, and told his viewers to speak up without fear. Wow, now that is some ridiculous right-wing insanity, none of it is true, it's all lies to scare people using fear tactics to make Obama look like a communist who is going to turn America into France. Then Beck had Seton Motley from the right-wing Media Research center on to agree with him. They claim the Obama FCC czar is going to put a 100% tax on right-wing radio, and that will put them out of business. Their proof, they have none, they just make it up and the other guy says it's true. One lies, and the other one swears to it. Think about what they are saying, how can you tax someone 100%, you cant, it's impossible and it will never happen, it's all L-I-E-S. Before he went to commercial Beck gets all serious, and looks in the camera with those crazy eyes and says, he is about to lose his freedom of speech. I was laughing my ass off, the guy is a basket case, a loon, his elevator does not go to the top floor, the lights are on but nobody's home. Nobody is going to lose their freedom of speech, you fricking lunatic. Then the great Rush Limbaugh was on, now there is a powerhouse team, not. Limpballs just sat there and agreed with all the Beck insanity, and said it might be worse than Beck is even saying. Proving they are both idiotic far right spin doctors, who just lie their ass off to smear Obama and make him look like a communist. Notice anything missing, Democrat guests. There are none, ever, it's all Republicans spewing out right-wing spin and lies using fear tactics. Not one thing they are saying will ever happen, ever, none of it. At one point Limpballs even told Beck that the Obama plans he talks about will not work. Beck just acted like he never said it, then continued on with the same fantasy talk. Beck said Obama is forming an Army of thugs to shut him and Rush down, and Rush agreed with him, but he said it will not work. They both agreed Obama is going to try to shut them down and kill free speech, but Rush said it will not work, at least 3 times. Yet Beck was not slowed down at all, he just kept spewing it out. If you believe Obama is going to take your free speech away, you have crossed over into loonytoon land, you are gone, braindead, stupid, and insane. This stuff is nonsense, made up by a lunatic. It's all right-wing spin and lies to make you fear Obama, when none of it is going to happen, ever, none of it. I am even stunned that FOX would let this insanity on the air, I knew they were a right-wing news network, but I did not know they were this bad. Beck has free speech, but FOX does not have to give him a tv news show to spew this garbage out. To be honest, FOX should be embarrassed to even let this lunatic on the air. Then Beck and Limpballs cried about the rest of the media not reporting this stuff, yeah because it's all made up right-wing garbage that's not true. That's why nobody else is reporting it, because it's all lies and ridiculous conspiracy talk. And then finally Karl Rove was on, and the two of them spewed out more right-wing propaganda. The entire show was all Republicans spinning out crazy communist conspiracy nonsense, with nobody to counter anything they said. And if you believe any of it, you are stupid. The Tuesday 8-25-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 26, 2009 - 1:00pm Beck opened the show talking about the people who give advice to the president, he called them Czars, even after admitting the White House asked him not to call them Czars. Beck claimed that the people have a right to know what these advisors are telling the president. Beck claims he has asked them what they are telling the president, but they refuse to tell him. Which is so ridiculous I dont know where to start. To begin with, what an advisor to the president says to him is private information, that only the president has a right to know. And what's really funny is when Dick Cheney said it's private information what an advisor says to a president, Beck had no problem with that. But now that a Democrat is in office suddenly Beck claims the people have a right to know what presidential advisors are telling the president. It's just ridiculous, a complete double standard, and nothing but right-wing garbage from Beck who just makes it up. Then Beck claimed that one Obama Czar is going to tell you how many children you can have, which is nothing short of insanity, it's a 100% lie, nobody advising the president is going to tell you how many kids you can have, it's just never gonna happen. The man does not even have any power, he just gives advice to the president. And even if he did tell the president to limit how many kids you can have, Obama is never going to do it, so it's just more insane fear mongering from the crazy Glenn Beck. Basically the entire show was an attack on the advisors to president Obama. Beck said they are all marxists, communists, socialists, revolutionists, and anti-capitalists, who are going to help Obama transform America into Venezuela, and then he compared Obama to Hugo Chavez. But Monday Beck said Obama was going to turn America into France West. It's all fear tactics, and lies, none of that is going to happen, it's all made up by Beck to make people hate Obama and think he is going to do that nonsense. Then Beck had the right-wing idiot Phil Kerpen on again to agree with everything Beck said. Beck had all these so-called communist groups names on a chalkboard, with arrows all pointing to the name OBAMA at the top. Beck claims Obama is connected to all these communist groups, and that he is working with them to transform America into France, or some nonsense like that, it's so crazy it's hard to understand what he is talking about. The only truth here is that Beck and Kerpen are lunatics, who should be in a mental institution, not on a tv news network doing a so-called news show. This is made up right-wing conspiracy garbage, there is no proof of any of it, Beck just makes it up and gets some other right-wing nut to agree with him to make it look true. Then Beck thanked his crazy viewers for the great ratings Monday, and told them he will continue to speak the truth about Obama even if he is put on a watch list. Beck even said that Obama has a watch list for everyone who disagrees with him. Proving he is insane, because there is no watch list, for Beck, or anyone. Beck played some partial, out of context clips of Obama, and a few other Democrats, then he put two right-wing nuts on, Stephen Moore and Arthur Laffer to comment on their partial out of context quotes. These three right-wing spin doctors sat there and claimed that Obama does not believe in capitalism, and that Beck is exactly right when he says Obama is trying to transform America into France. It's just laughable, and all three of them are certified right-wing liars. It's all lies and fear tactics being put out by Republicans who hate Obama. With no Democrat guest to counter anything they say. It's all right-wing spin, all the time. Obama has even said he is a capitalist, who believes in capitalism. Yet they ignored all that to just lie that he is not a capitalist. The best part is that Bush was the president for 8 years and he did everything Beck, Moore, and Laffer wanted him to do, and look what happened. Their policies were put in place under Bush, and it ruined the country, but now they claim we should listen to them and not Obama. It's beyond laughable, why should we listen to them now, when the policies they promoted under Bush led to the problems we have now. Answer that Beck, you dumbass. These two morons even wrote a book together, in the book they say what should be done to fix the country and the economy. When we already tried it, during the Bush years, and it was a massive failure. They even said Obama is the worst economic president ever, who is doing everything wrong. Just 7 months into his term, which is just ridiculous, because the economy is getting better, and things are improving. They ignore that, and claim we should listen to them. I guess they are on another planet, and they cant see the recession is almost over, the market is up, the Obama stimulus is working, etc. etc. etc. Then Beck had the crazy Michelle Malkin on to put out more communist conspiracy garbage about Obama and his advisors. They talked about some crazy book about a new revolution or something like that, it was just more right-wing insanity. None of what they said will ever happen, they just make it up and hope some nut will believe it. They have no proof any of it will happen, they just speculate it will at some point in the future. It's all crazy conspiracy/revloutionary right-wing fear tactics. And yet Beck claims he never uses fear tactics, and only tells you the truth. When it's all lies, spin, and fear tactics, none of it is true, it's all an opinion from his warped mind. Beck is a certified spin doctor, all he does is spin and lie about Obama to scare people into opposing him. Beck even said Obama should not be allowed to pass any legislation, none. Then why even have elections, or a president. The people spoke, and they elected Obama to put his agenda in place, that means he can pass anything he wants, and yet Beck says he should not be allowed to pass anything. Which is funny, because when Bush was the president Beck make the exact opposite argument. Back then, he said Bush is the president so he should be allowed to do whatever he wants. Now that we have a Democrat in the White House Beck is saying he should not be allowed to do anything, talk about hypocrisy and double standards, this is it, and Beck is a lunatic that nobody should listen to. 36 Companies Have Now Dropped Ads From Beck By: Steve - August 25, 2009 - 1:10pm Thirty-six companies have now committed not to support Beck's show since ColorOfChange launched its campaign three weeks ago. The defections come as ColorOfChange mobilized against corporations who still refused to pull their ads from Glenn Beck by placing thousands of phone calls to company executives. By the end of last week, three of these companies - Clorox, Lowe's and Sprint - had pledged not to run additional ads; Red Lobster and Vonage have not yet responded. The new companies distancing themselves from Beck include Airware, Ancestry.com, AT&T, Blaine Labs, Campbell Soup Company, Clorox, Ditech, The Elations Company, Experian, Farmers Insurance Group, Johnson & Johnson, Lowe's, NutriSystem, Sprint, The UPS Store and Verizon Wireless. They join twenty other companies who previously pledged not to run additional ads on Glenn Beck. The Monday 8-24-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 25, 2009 - 9:00am Beck opened the show saying everyone should call their friends and tell them to watch and take notes. Yeah right, I bet his viewers can not write to take those notes. The show was called The New Republic: America's Future. And it's gonna be a week long series, all spin and lies about the Obama czars, ACORN, the stimulus bill, etc. Beck said he is going to spend the entire week giving you his opinions, and he specifically said it was just his opinion. Meaning there will not be any truth or facts involved, just his spin, and his opinion. Beck went to the chalkboard and read some of the nonsense on it, then he claimed if Obama is not stopped the country will burn down. If that's not fear-mongering, what is. Beck was all over the place with right-wing nonsense, he claimed the Obama energy plan will cause energy prices to skyrocket. When the truth is they will only go up an average of $150 a year by 2020, earth to Beck that's not skyrocketing, in fact, it's quite a small increase over 11 years time. I myself think it's worth an extra $150 a year 11 years from now to get clean energy, like wind and solar. Then Beck gave this crazy warning that the hour is growing late, and time is of the essence. In his serious crazy man voice, like if you dont stop Obama now it will be too late to stop him in the future. Basically the first 10 minutes of the show, was just Glenn Beck ranting and raving about how Obama must be stopped of the world is gonna end, or burn, or something like that. Then he says he is not a fear-monger, haha, if that's not fear-mongering what is it. Then Beck had some more fear tactic garbage, he had the right-wing stooge Charles Payne on from the FOX Business Network. Beck and Payne stood next to a screen with the national debt clock on it, and they went though the numbers. They both cried about the big Obama spending and claimed it's crippling the economy, which is just insane, because the economy is getting better. Maybe someone should tell them things are improving, and that the Obama economic stimulus plan is working. It's only been 7 months you idiots, Bush spent 8 years screwing it up, you cant expect Obama to fix it in 7 months. Of course you never hear that from these two losers, it's all right-wing spin, all the time. Every time Beck comes back from a commercial he has these words on the screen. Reasonable questions for unreasonable times. Implying that his insane questions are reasonable. Then Beck says Obama is turning the USA into France West, whatever that means. Beck also said that we the people should stop Obama from moving any legislation, and he talked about Obama using some crazy 1965 strategy called the Cloward-Piven strategy. Basically Beck claims Obama is trying to bankrupt the country so he can turn it into France, using the Cloward-Piven strategy. And I bet he believes the earth is flat too, it's just ridiculous right-wing insanity. Obama is trying to fix the country and get it back on track, not bankrupt it. It's funny how he forgets that Bill Clinton balanced the budget and created a surplus, and that it was Bush who bankrupted the country and caused the deficit. Yet he blames it all on Obama, and makes up some crazy conspiracy lies. The whole show was like that, nothing but right-wing propaganda. Beck also went after Van Jones the Obama green jobs czar. He called him a communist, Beck did not even address the boycott spearheaded by ColorofChange. Instead, he spent a large share of his show suggesting that Jones, who co-founded Color of Change in 2005, is a radical. During the six-minute biographical profile, set to ominous music, Beck said Jones was twice arrested for political protests and has described himself as a rowdy black nationalist. The crazy Beck cast the piece as part of a broader examination of Obama's czars, special advisers to the president who don't answer to anybody. And all that was years ago when he was in College. It was a biased one sided attack with nobody there to defend him. The whole show is Beck and a few right-wing nuts who all agree with each other. He never has any Democrats on to give the other side, this is not journalism, it's a paid ad for the GOP. But he did have a fake Democrat on, a FOX News stooge. Beck had Pat Caddell on, and even called him a Democrat, which is just ridiculous. Caddell does nothing but attack everything Obama and the Democrats are doing, he even calls liberals and moveon.org out of control extremists, and said they are not real Democrats. Caddell is a good friend of Beck who agrees with about 99% of what he says, that's called a Republican, and a far right Republican. The fact that they even claim Caddell is a Democrat proves they are lying idiots who will say anything. If Caddell is a Democrat, I'm Elvis. Beck also had some right-wing nut Phil Kerpin on, he spewed out some garbage about the Apollo Alliance and how they wrote the Obama stimulus bill. Then they sat around and agreed with each other. They just trashed Obama and everything he is doing, they also hammered ACORN, the AFL-CIO, etc. It's just one sided biased right-wing propaganda, with nobody there to give the counterpoint on any of it. And that was just Monday, Beck plans four more shows of the same nonsense. It's all Beck and his right-wing friends spinning out lies and conspiracy nonsense. They claim Obama is the devil, and that he is going to ruin the country if he is not stopped. If you believe this insanity you need some help, it's all just lies and speculation, almost none of it is true. Number of Beck Advertisers Who Have Pulled Out so Far: 33 By: Steve - August 24, 2009 - 9:40am AP -- Glenn Beck returns to Fox News Channel after a vacation on Monday with fewer companies willing to advertise on his show than when he left, part of the fallout from calling President Barack Obama a racist. A total of 33 Fox advertisers, including Walmart, CVS Caremark, Clorox and Sprint, directed that their commercials not air on Beck's show, according to the companies and ColorofChange.org, a group that promotes political action among blacks and launched a campaign to get advertisers to abandon him. That's more than a dozen more than were identified a week ago. While it's unclear what effect, if any, this will ultimately have on Fox and Beck, it is already making advertisers skittish about hawking their wares within the most opinionated cable TV shows. The Clorox Co., a former Beck advertiser, now says that "we do not want to be associated with inflammatory speech used by either liberal or conservative talk show hosts." The maker of bleach and household cleaners said in a statement that is has decided not to advertise on political talk shows. Rich Hallabran, spokesman for UPS Stores, said they have temporarily halted buying ads on Fox News Channel as a whole. Beck was actually on another Fox show July 28 when he referred to Obama as a racist with a deep-seated hatred for white people. The network immediately distanced itself from his statement, but Beck didn't. He used his radio show the next day to explain why he believed that. He would not comment for this article, spokesman Matthew Hiltzik said. One company, CVS Caremark, said it advertises on Fox but hadn't said anything about Beck. Now it has told its advertising agency to inform Fox that it wanted no commercials on Beck. "We support vigorous debate, especially around policy issues that affect millions of Americans, but we expect it to be informed, inclusive and respectful," said spokeswoman Carolyn Castel. Besides the unpredictability of the opinionated cable hosts, the rapid pace of today's wired world complicates decisions on where to place ads, said Kathleen Dunleavy, a spokeswoman for Sprint. She said she was surprised at how fast the Beck issue spread across social media outlets and how quickly advertiser names were attached to it. Rucker said ColorofChange.org has contacted about 60 companies regarding Beck, and is heartened by the response. "It's causing a certain conversation around Beck, which I think is important," he said. Beck Radio Show Fill in Trashes Ted Kennedy By: Steve - August 23, 2009 - 9:50am Just so you know what Beck has his fill ins doing, here is a video of what his radio show fill in said about Ted Kennedy. Chris Baker was filling in for Beck and he said this: BAKER: Ted Kennedy is a "big fat bloated jackball," a "blithering alcoholic murderer," and a "communist sympathizer" That's the kind of people Beck has in his place when he is on vacation. Here is the video. FOX News Ignores Tom Ridge Terror Alert Story By: Steve - August 22, 2009 - 1:40pm O'Reilly claims that the rest of the media is corrupt, because they ignore big news stories for partisan political reasons. Then FOX News does this: Tom Ridge? Fox News Never Heard of The Guy 8-21-09 -- Big surprise, right? Former Department of Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge admits in his upcoming book that he was pressured by very senior Bush White House officials to raise the nation's terror level warning and to do it for purely for political reasons. The story's a big deal and it's been widely reported and commented upon in the last 24 hours. Except at GOP-friendly Fox News, of course, which continues to play dumb about the news story. According to TVeyes.com, since the terror level story broke yesterday, CNN has mentioned "Tom Ridge" on the air at least 41 times, MSNBC has done it 62 times, and CNN's Headline News, which covers fewer stories each day, mentioned "Tom Ridge" 18 times so far. Any guesses for Fox News? Did I mention FNC was playing dumb on an epic level? If you guessed two, you are correct. According to TVeyes, Fox News has been able to almost completely ignore the Ridge story. It basically does not exist. Four sentences. To date, that's been the sum total of Fox News reporting on the Ridge controversy. The four sentences were aired on Thursday's Special Report. BTW, the other cable channels continue to cover the Ridge story today and by midnight I'm guessing MSNBC's total mentions of Ridge will approach 80-90, while CNN's will likely top out around 60. But if I had to bet any money, I'd bet that Fox News two reference will stand firm throughout the day. ------------------ Not one word about the story on the big 3 shows on FOX, O'Reilly never said a word about it, Hannity never said a word, and the Glenn Beck show fill ins did not report it either. So if we judge media corruption by the partisan political stories they ignore, FOX is more corrupt than any of them. The Thursday 8-20-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 21, 2009 - 9:40am Beck had another fill in, some right-wing stooge from the FOX Business Network. His name is Eric Bolling, he used to work for CNBC, and he was an energy trader on wall street. He's the standard biased Republican who hates everything Democrats do, even though Bill Clinton proved that Democratic policies can work great for the country. No matter what Democrats do, or how great it works for the country, guys like Bolling still trash it, just like Beck, Rove, Coulter, Gingrich, etc. They are partisan Republicans who can never admit anything Democrats do for the country is good for us. Proving they are right-wing idiots who put politics ahead of the good of the people. Bolling opened the show trashing everything Obama has done, he even trashed the cash for clunkers program, when it's been a huge success. What's funny is the Obama stimulus bill is working, the cash for clunkers has been a great program, and yet these right-wing morons claim it's all been a failure. To begin with, the stimulus is a 2 year plan, and it's only been 6 months, and the cash for clunkers has worked great, for just $3 Billion dollars it has put the car companies back on their feet, and created hundreds if not thousands of jobs. And they did it in the middle of the worst recession in 50 years. Yet all the Republicans do is trash it, when it's worked great for everyone. Bolling had crazy Ann Coulter on, so you know he is a far right idiot. He also had Doug Schoen on too, he's a FOX News employee that's billed as a former Clinton advisor. He is what we call a fake Democrat, sort of like Juan Williams. FOX hires these moderate Republicans and bills them as Democrats, then these so-called Democrats sit there and agree with 90% of what the Republican guest and host say. In what little time Schoen had to talk he mostly agreed with Bolling and Coulter, proving that he is no Democrat, because Coulter was spewing out some big time right-wing propaganda. It was 95% right-wing spin from Bolling and Coulter, with Schoen getting to talk for about 30 seconds, and half of his time he agreed with Bolling and crazy Coulter. The whole show went like that, except the rest of the show was only Republican guests. they put 1 so-called Democrat on, but he had to split his time with crazy Coulter, so he barely got to talk, then the entire rest of the show was 100% right-wing spin. At one point Bolling pulled a penny from a box, he said that's the Obama health care plan, then he dumped the whole box of pennies on the table, and left them there the rest of the show. It was just stupid, and something Beck would do. I'm not even sure what the hell it meant, he explained it, but it made no sense. I guess that's how much he thinks the Obama health care plan is worth to him, a few pennies, or something crazy like that, I dont think he even knew what he was saying. This guy Bolling is a right-wing idiot, not as crazy as Beck, and not as wild, but still an idiot. He spent the whole show trashing Obama on everything, with all right-wing guests, except for the 1 fake Democrat who works for FOX. I would say it was just like watching Bill O'Reilly, it was a one sided biased and partisan GOP spin job. Which is the standard programming on FOX, they stick these right-wing stooges on these shows to spin out GOP propaganda because that's what their biased viewers want to see. And that's what gets them good ratings. It's the same as watching Hannity, O'Reilly, Ingraham, etc. All right-wing spin, all the time, passed off as fair and balanced news. When there is no fairness and no balance. Having 1 fake Democrat on an hour long right-wing propaganda show is not being fair and balanced, unless you are a biased right-winger who agrees with them, and thinks it is fair and balanced. If FOX could be sued for lying, they would lose in a heartbeat for saying they are fair and balanced. Just look at their top 3 shows, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. If that's balance, I'm Newt Gingrich. Not 1 Democrat has a show on FOX, it's all Republicans. Yet they claim they are fair and balanced, when it's just ridiculous, and just makes them look like fools. Was The Beck Vacation Planned? By: Steve - August 20, 2009 - 2:40pm From TVNewser: Tipsters inside Fox News tell us Glenn Beck's vacation this week from his Fox News show was not planned. We hear Beck was told to take this week off to let some of the heat surrounding him die down. That heat began July 28 on "Fox & Friends" when Beck said he thought Pres. Obama has "a deep-seated hatred for white people," adding, "This guy is, I believe, a racist." In the days and weeks that followed an organization called ColorofChange.org mobilized an effort to get advertisers to pull their spots from Beck's show. Earlier this month, a Fox News spokesperson told TVNewser that the advertisers simply moved their spots from Beck to other programs, "so there has been no revenue lost." But the list of advertisers grew to 20 and so did the resolve inside FNC that something more should be done. A Fox News spokesperson denied our accounts and simply told us, "Glenn Beck will back on Monday." But several sources inside FNC confirm that this is a forced vacation. Insiders note the ColorofChange movement is new territory for FNC. Other opinion hosts, including Sean Hannity, have not experienced an advertiser backlash. Beck's show Monday was taped, while Judge Napolitano has been sitting in this week. And, what does Beck have to say about all this? We'll see on Monday when he returns. Farmers Insurance Drops Beck By: Steve - August 20, 2009 - 2:20pm Farmers Insurance told Politico it pulled its advertisements from the Glenn Beck Program. GEICO, the Chevy Chase, Md.-based insurer whose ads are ubiquitous on TV, also pulled its ads. The insurance companies are among more than 20 companies, including Best Buy, Wall-Mart and CVS, whose advertisements have stopped appearing on the Fox New Channel program after Beck called President Barack Obama a racist, and said the president has a deep-seated hatred for white people. Beck made the comments on the "Fox and Friends" program July 28. Appealing to advertisers to stop supporting Beck's program was started by ColorOfChange.org, a group which says it "exists to strengthen Black America's political voice." The Tuesday 8-18-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 19, 2009 - 4:40pm Beck was off yesterday, Judge Napolitano is filling in for him, he is also in for Beck today, and most likely the rest of the week. And btw, did you know that FOX viewers are more misinformed on the Obama health care plan than anyone. Fox Viewers Misinformed on Obama Health Care Plan Yesterday NBC News and the Wall Street Journal released a poll showing that "all the misinformation out there" about health care reform proposals in Congress is taking root with many Americans. For instance, 45 percent believe the false claim that legislation includes "death panels" while 55 percent believe the false claim that coverage will be extended to illegal immigrants. Viewers of Fox News are disproportionately misinformed, 72% of FOX News viewers believe the health-care plan will give coverage to illegal immigrants, 79% of them say it will lead to a government takeover, 69% think that it will use taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions, and 75% believe that it will allow the government to make decisions about when to stop providing care for the elderly. Fox News regularly distorts the truth about health care reform. Last week, Media Matters found that over a two day period opponents of health care reform outnumbered supporters by a 6-to-1 margin on Fox. And btw, today the Judge was spinning out GOP propaganda just as Beck would have, proving he is just as dishonest as Beck is. He played a partial 10 second video clip of Barney Frank telling a woman who asked a question, that talking to people like her is like talking to a dining room table. But the Judge edited the clip, and only played part of the video. He did not show her question, or mention what she did. Then he hammered Barney Frank for talking to her like that, while leaving out all the info that showed why he said that to her. Here is what the dishonest Judge Napolitano left out. Barney Frank (D-MA) held a contentious town hall in Dartmouth, MA to discuss health care reform. The crowded hall of more than 500 people had both supporters and opponents of health care reform, but the opposing side was "much louder and more raucous." At one point, Frank asked the crowd, Which one of you wants to yell next? Frank then excoriated a woman who asked a question while holding up a picture of President Obama defaced to look like Hitler: QUESTION: Why do you continue to support a Nazi policy as Obama has expressly supported this policy? Why are you supporting it?Not once did the Judge mention that she was holding a photo of Obama made to look like Hitler, not once did the Judge mention she called it a Nazi policy, and not once did the Judge play the part of the video that shows her actually asking the question. The Judge started the video after she asked her question, and did not show the part of the video showing her holding a photo of Obama made to look like Hitler. Talk about dishonesty, what Judge Napolitano did was about as dishonest as you can get. The Judge even edited out most of what Frank said, to only show the last part where he told the woman talking to her is like talking to a dining room table. Glenn Beck Should be Fired By: Steve - August 19, 2009 - 12:40pm It's no surprise that advertisers are running for the hills after Glenn Beck's idiotic remarks about President Obama. Fox should now take the appropriate step and fire him. It's one thing to attack Obama's policies. It's another to brand him a racist and say that his decisions are motivated by a secret loathing of more than half the country: BECK: This president has exposed himself as a guy over and over and over again who has a deep-seated hatred for white people ... this guy is, I believe, a racist. This is the sort of garbage you might expect at a KKK meeting. It's not what you expect from the host of a talk show broadcast by one of the world's largest media companies. To be clear: There's nothing wrong with Glenn Beck thinking that Obama's decisions are motivated by a secret hatred of more than half the country (many of his fans no doubt agree with him). There's nothing wrong with him saying it in his own forum, on his own time as long as it doesn't embarrass his employer. But there is everything wrong with his being paid millions of dollars a year to say it by a company whose customers and viewers include a broad majority of the country's population. And btw, Fox did respond to Beck's remark. they said he was just "expressing a personal opinion. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions." Wich is just total B.S. Fox clearly would not employ Beck if his "personal opinions" were that all black people should be lynched or that child prostitution is ok with him. If Beck were to state those opinions, he would certainly be relieved of his contract before he stepped off the set. By standing behind Glenn Beck, Fox is standing behind what he said. Beck's "hatred for white people" remark is every bit as inappropriate and offensive as Imus's "nappy-headed hos." Imus got sacked for that remark -- as he should have. So should Beck. The Monday 8-17-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 18, 2009 - 8:50am Beck had a show called the death of small business, on the screen he had a grave headstone that said RIP on it, on the other side was a small image that said death of small business. He opened the show sitting by a group of 15 to 20 people on the stage, then he said the Government is trying to murder millions of small businesses in America. Beck implied the Obama administration is killing small businesses. And yet he claims he is not a fearmonger, if that's not fearmongering I dont know what is. Earth to Glenn Beck, this is fearmongering sparky. It's just a total lie, Obama wants to help small businesses, not kill them you lying idiot. Looking at the group of people on the stage, I guessed it was all Republican small business owners, and I was exactly right. The first thing Beck said was raise your hand if you think the Obama stimulus bill will create one job, and not one person raised their hand, not one. Proving that they were all Republicans, because the Obama stimulus bill has created thousands of jobs already, it has kept people from losing jobs, and it will create thousands more jobs. It's working, the economy is getting better, and anyone who refuses to admit the Obama stimulus bill has created jobs is a right-wing nut. So Beck did this rigged focus group type show, with all Republican small business owners who hate Obama. Then he claimed Obama is murdering small businesses, while all these Republican small business owners sat around and agreed with all the spin and lies Beck spewed out. This was not journalism, it was simply right-wing propaganda with a biased one sided host, and biased one sided guests. The 3 actual guests were all Republicans too, Stephen Moore, Judge Napolitano, and Dani Babb. Not only was this right-wing garbage not journalism, it was a violation of journalistic standards, by only having one side of the story. Proving Beck is not a journalist, that he is just a biased partisan spin doctor. Beck also asked the group if anyone thought the Government can do anything right, and not one person raised their hand. I guess they forgot about medicare, social security, VA health care, the Military, unemployment compensation, food stamps, etc. All these Government programs work great, and run very well. But Republicans refuse to admit it, because they have been brainwashed into spewing out the GOP talking points. And Beck did not have one Democrat on the show, because they might have told the truth, and he cant let that happen. The entire hour was Beck, the 3 Republican guests, and the all Republican small business owners sitting around spewing out right-wing talking points. They all hate Obama and everything he does, even if it's working to fix the economy, they still sit around and lie about what he is doing. Then they go one farther, they falsely claim Obama is trying to murder small businesses. It's just ridiculous, and anyone who believes this right-wing nonsense should be locked in a padded room right next to Beck. Seven More Sponsors Drop The Glenn Beck Show By: Steve - August 18, 2009 - 8:40am Seven more companies -- including Allergan, Ally Bank, Best Buy, Broadview Security, CVS, Re-Bath, and Wal-Mart. They have all agreed to stop advertising on Glenn Beck's show. Their announcements are in response to a ColorOfChange campaign after Beck said that President Obama is a racist with a deep-seated hatred for white people. A total of 20 companies have now pulled their advertising. “We support vigorous debate, especially around policy issues that affect millions of Americans, but we expect it to be informed, inclusive and respectful, in keeping with our company's core values and commitment to diversity,” explained Carolyn Castel, Vice President of Corporate Communications for CVS Caremark. The Infamous Beck Screaming at a Caller Video By: Steve - August 17, 2009 - 1:40pm If you want to see how insane Glenn Beck really is, watch this video, it's an eye opener. If you can watch that, and then deny that Glenn Beck is crazy, something is wrong with you also. And remember that Republicans worship this lunatic, one Republican Senator (Grassley) even hands out Glenn Beck books at his town hall meetings. Proof Glenn Beck is a Biased Republican Partisan By: Steve - August 17, 2009 - 1:30pm If you want some actual proof that Glenn Beck is an Obama hating right-wing partisan, just look at his own website, and the way he describes some of the people in the Obama administration. He calls them communists, nutjobs, and wacko's. Here is a direct quote from a link on his own website, dated August 16, 2009. List of Obama's CzarsBeck even says, keep an eye on them and report any fishy activity to him, hey Glenn, what exactly is fishy activity. In another article from August 3rd Beck interviews the crazy far right Michell Malkin, who is a favorite of Beck, and they both claim Obama has made a shadow Government with all these Czars. MALKIN: Yeah. Well, there are upwards of 44 of them now, at least that's the count of the watchdogs in the blogosphere that have been installed into office through presidential appointment and it is, as you've said on your show and I've said many times over the course of the last six months a complete shadow government.Except there are two problems with that right-wing propaganda, 1) How can it be a shadow Government when we know who they are and their names are made public. Not to mention some of them were confirmed by the Congress. And 2) Bush also had Czars, but these two biased right-wing idiots never once complained about them when Bush did it. So it's total nonsense, and ridiculous one sided biased garbage. A shadow Government is a secret Government, if we know who they are, and it's done in the public eye, it's impossible to be a shadow Government. Beck wrote this: GLENN: I want to talk to you about three different options here. Hang on, let me just run them down because I don't want to forget them. The first option with these czars is they're a collection of stupid people. They're a collection of people that are just like the ambassadors. A lot of times presidents will say, oh, jeez, here's a guy from high school and he helped raise money and, you know, we're friends, but he's a pain in the ass; can we send him to Zimbabwe.Wow, in Beck world the Obama people are all stupid users of dirty Chicago style politics, and evil people who have no respect for America, that are going to start something we dont want to see started, even though he never says what that might be. Then he claims he is not a fear monger, and that he respects president Obama. This is right-wing insanity, it's nothing but lies and conspiracy filled speculation, from two right-wing nuts who make a living spreading propaganda about what Obama and the Democrats are gonna do to America. Travelocity Pulls Ads From Glenn Beck Show By: Steve - August 16, 2009 - 10:30am Following up on Glenn Beck's corporate sponsors, I have more great news, from an e-mail sent to Daily Kos by Thornley Fallis Communications, Travelocity's public relations agency. According to the e-mail, not only does Travelocity think it is important to make it clear they never specifically placed ad's on Beck's program, they have now explicitly requested that their ads not appear on his show. Just following up on your post about the Glenn Beck show earlier this week.So congratulations are in order to all the people who have been pressuring Beck's sponsors to pull out. Travelocity did the right thing, and everyone should thank them. Not to mention, you should take note of who still sponsors Beck, then contact them to complain, and boycott them until they remove their ads from his show. Glenn Beck is a Dangerous Liar By: Steve - August 15, 2009 - 12:30pm Glenn Beck claims that he is not a fear monger, he even denied it in a segment on the O'Reilly Factor last week. He also claims that nothing he says would ever cause one of the right-wing nuts that watch his show to do anything violent. If that's true, why does he keep warning his viewers to not do anything violent. If he is not a fear monger, and nothing he says could lead to violence why the constant warnings to his viewers. He warned his viewers about violent acts on August 4th, and he did it again last week. We all know the type of people who watch Beck aren't exactly intellectual heavyweights, but what does it say about their sanity when Beck has to lecture them on the air about the damgers of violence. Every so often Beck sends a clear message to his viewers. Don't go messing up all the progress the Republicans are making at derailing the Obama presidency with spin and lies, with any sort of Timothy McVeigh violence. That's the message Beck is sending out. Proving he is worried that one or more of his crazy viewers will do something stupid. His message is usually delivered in a somewhat somber, straightforward manner. There are none of the typical theatrics typically employed by Beck to drive his messages through to the warped brains of his followers. Beck is just looking into the camera and imploring his audience not to murder innocent people -- He said, "Just one lunatic like Timothy McVeigh could ruin everything that everyone has worked so hard for." Nothing wrong with that, is there? Ummmmm, yeah, there is in fact something very wrong with it. One can't help but wonder, "What the hell provoked this?" Was it a demand from the higher-ups at Fox News, and do they know something that we don't about how close certain segments of the right-wing are to acting out violently? Remember when Sheperd Smith talked about the scary emails the staff at Fox get from unhinged right-wingers? Could this be tied to that? Then again, perhaps Beck is just feeling the heat from his "Obama is a racist" comment and is trying to do something to shine a positive light on himself. Who knows what goes on in his crazy head. But I do know that these warnings would not be given out, if he was not worried that some of his lies could lead one of his crazy viewers to violence. Glenn Beck is dangerous, because he is lying to people he knows have lots of guns, and to people he knows are a little crazy. Most of them are not very smart, and the proof of that is the fact that they watch his show. So he lies to these crazy, not very smart viewers, they believe his lies, then they want to get their guns and do something about it. That is why he is dangerous, and why he gives out these warnings. Because he is worried that one of his crazy viewers will grab a rifle, a thousand rounds of ammo, and go kill a bunch of liberals, or maybe even try to kill the president. So he tells all these lies that could lead to violence, and instead of stopping the lies, he continues with them, and does the warnings against violence. Then if some nut who watches him does anything bad, he can say I told them to not use violence, and then he will claim the CYA excuse. I usually do not call for anyone in the news to be taken off the air, not even Hannity or O'Reilly. But if Glenn Beck continues these lies about Nazi eugenics programs, and death panels, etc. I think FOX may have to consider taking him off the air. What he does is not journalism, it's dangerous propaganda fear mongering with lies, to people that believe the lies and could snap at any moment. Beck Loses More Advertisers By: Steve - August 14, 2009 - 2:30pm So far about a dozen companies have withdrawn their commercials from Glenn Beck, after he said late last month that President Obama was a racist with a deep-seated hatred for white people. The campaign against Beck is rooted in an advocacy group’s objection (colorofchange) to the morons remarks on July 28. Given the number of advertisers that have pledged to remove their spots, it appears to have been very successful. “We have TV today that’s very polarizing and controversial,” said Donny Deutsch, the advertising executive and occasional host on CNBC and MSNBC, a rival to Fox News. Last month, Mr. Deutsch listed some of the “Glenn Beck” advertisers and told MSNBC viewers that people who objected to Mr. Beck’s remark should write to the chief executives of the companies. In an interview, he said corporate decisions about where to allot ad dollars were the “ultimate check and balance.” ColorOfChange trumpeted the advertisers’ announcements as meaningful wins in news releases this month, and announced on Thursday that ConAgra, the pharmaceutical companies Roche and Sanofi-Aventis, and the electronics retailer RadioShack had pledged to remove ads from “Glenn Beck.” An official at RadioShack told the advocacy group that it had not bought time directly on Fox News, but that a third-party manufacturer had cited the retailer in its commercials. RadioShack said it had asked the manufacturer, magicJack, to “immediately cease and desist running all commercials with our name tagged in the spot“ on the Beck program. Other companies also said their spots had been scheduled during “Glenn Beck” by mistake. Ads for Procter & Gamble and S.C. Johnson appeared on a weekend repeat of Mr. Beck’s program by mistake, Fox acknowledged. Progressive said that its advertising order had specified “no Glenn Beck.” What Glenn Beck said about president Obama in July was “race-baiting packaged as news,“ said James Rucker, the executive director of ColorOfChange. The Truth About Katy Abrams By: Steve - August 14, 2009 - 11:30am She shows up at a town hall meeting to protest the Obama health care plan. then she ends up on Hardball, she claims she is not political, and has never been interested in politics. She says she does not listen to talk radio or watch any partisan news shows on FOX etc. Then that very same night she sends an e-mail to Glenn Beck at 4 in the morning, and bam, the next day she is a guest on Becks radio show. Now Beck is using her to claim she is just an average American that does not like the Obama health care plan. When it's a lie, and she is a partisan fraud who loves Glenn Beck and has been involved with him and his 9/12 project for years. I knew there was more to the story of Katy Abram than just, a stay at home Mom of 2 who is frustrated about the direction of the country. Katy was asked by Lawrence O’Donnell the other night what brought her to the town hall meeting and she said she was just frustrated. No other reason except that she sees America quickly becoming a Socialist Russia. Which is the same garbage Beck has been spewing out ever since Obama got elected. She got her talking points right from Glenn Beck. She has also stated that she is her own person and that she only listens & observes and doesn’t take direction from anyone but herself. She said she doesn’t watch the news shows or listen to the radio. She said she has never been interested in politics until now. Well, the truth is, she had been active since December of 2006, that we know of. And I would bet she stays home and listens to Glenn Beck’s show every day, and has since the election in 2008. Katy made it seem like the town hall meeting she attended was the only time in her life she had ever been political, but yet, she organized a We Surround Them meet-up this past winter. These right wing fakes are so easy to figure out. And any doubt you have about their intentions is legitimate. Question everything they do because you will quickly find out you were right. Ask yourself this, if she is not a partisan right-wing stooge, why is she sending e-mails to Glenn Beck, then going on his radio show the very next day. And btw, I have no problem with people who oppose the Obama health care plan, as long as they are honest about if they are a Republican or not, and they have the facts on the bill. If they lie about being a Republican, and then spew out the GOP talking points on it, they are not to be respected, and you should discount anything they say. We now know for sure, that she is a partisan who has been a Glenn Beck fan since at least 2006, and if you are sending Glenn Beck e-mails at 4am, then doing his radio show the next day, you are clearly a biased and partisan Republican. The Thursday 8-13-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 14, 2009 - 8:30am Beck opened the show saying his hero is Major Garrett from FOX News, he had a photo of Garrett, he then kissed it and placed it on his desk. Okay, haha. Then Beck instantly went into full right-wing spin mode. He trashed Barbara Boxer for simply saying some of these town hall protestors are fake, and part of an astroturf campaign, which is 100% true. Beck trashed her anyway, and also went after the media for reporting it, when it's their job, and if they did not report it they would not be doing their job. Beck just dont like her or the media because they are reporting the truth. What's funny is people like Beck and O'Reilly complain when the media does not do their job, so now when they do their job reporting that some of these protestors are fake, they get mad and trash the media. Then Beck spins it big time, he says they are claiming they are ALL fake, when that is just not true. Then are only saying some of them are fake, and they even lie that Pelosi called them un-American, when she never said it. One right-wing nut says it, then they all repeat it as if it's true. Let me clear this up for Beck, O'Reilly, and all of the dishonest FOX News morons. Notice that when they mention what Pelosi said they do not quote her. Here is what she actually said, the actual words she used. PELOSI: The dialogue between elected representatives and constituents is at the heart of our democracy and plays an integral role in assuring that the legislation we write reflects the genuine needs and concerns of the people we represent. To be clear for the stupid Glenn Beck, she said it's un-American to shout people down and drown them out, so they can not speak to their elected representatives. She did not call anyone un-American, and she did not say everyone at the town halls are fake, she said some of them are fake, which they are, now stop lying about it. Then Beck did about 5 minutes putting out some crazy cherry picked edited videos of liberals protesting Bush, and comparing it to the town hall protests now, but it was just ridiculous. He is saying these town hall protestors are just as real as the liberals who protested Bush. When that's a lie, no liberal protestors were paid for by the Insurance companies and the corporations. And they did not go to town hall meetings out of their district to pretend they are not liberals. They had honest and valid protests to things Bush did, like the Illegal Iraq war, the Illegal wiretaps etc. These nuts that Beck loves are being bused in to meetings out of their districts, to pretend they are not Republican activists. And then they lie about being Republicans, which Beck never mentions. Not to mention, most of them oppose the Obama health care reform because they believe the spin and lies put out about it from people like Beck and O'Reilly. They have been lied to, and they are opposed to it based on those lies. And a lot of them just oppose it because the GOP is opposed to it. The same GOP that gets millions and millions of dollars from the Insurance companies to oppose it, so they can keep getting rich from their over-priced health Insurance plans. Then Beck was caught in a total lie, he said the Obama job approval is 47%, yes 47%, but he never cited a poll that says that. Because there are none, it's just a flat out lie. Not one poll in America has Obama at 47% approval, there are two polls that have him at 50%, Rasmussen and Quinnipiac, but that's as low as it goes. The other 10 polls all have Obama at 53% approval, or higher. FOX even had a poll on 8-12-09 that has Obama at 53% approval, yet the great Glenn Beck ignores the poll his own network ran to lie about the Obama approval rating being 49%, then he has the nerve to complain about the media being dishonest. I guess he learned from O'Reilly, and they are both proven liars. Then he had Karl Rove on, and the two of them sat there and put out non-stop right-wing spin with no Democrat to counter any of it. They trashed Obama, Pelosi, ACORN, Rahm Emanuel, the health care bill, and on and on. Beck keeps talking about ACORN, when they have nothing to do with the health care bill, they simply register people to vote, so he is off his rocker on that one. Beck cried about Emanuel bringing Chicago style politics to the White House, I'm not sure if that is true or not, but it's funny that Beck never cried about Bush bringing Texas style politics to the White House. So it's only bad in Beck world when a Democrat does it, proving his hypocrisy and his double standards. And btw, when Bush was president Beck said forget the defecit, nobody cares about it, but now that we have a Democrat president they scream bloody murder over the defecit, it's a massive double standard. When Bush was spending money like a drunken sailor, and giving $1.2 Trillion dollar tax cuts to the wealthy, they did not give a damn about the defecit. Now that Obama wants to do a $1 Trillion dollar health care plan over 10 years, which is only $100 Billion a year, and will be defecit neutral, they scream bloody murder. Talk about hypocrisy, and playing politcs, this is it. If Bush was doing it, they would love it, but when Obama does it they hate it, for political reasons, and because they get most of their money from the Insurance companies. Beck even called what Obama and Rahm emanuel are doing dirty politics and strongarm tactics, then he had the crazy Pat Caddell on to agree with him. Caddell is a Dick Morris wannabe, and not even a good one, he's a joke with a rug on his head. Caddell sat there and spewed out all this corruption nonsense with no proof, just like Beck saying Obama is at 47% approval with no poll to prove it. One lies, and the other one swears to it. If this is journalism, I'm Elvis. And of course nobody was on to counter anything they said, it's all right-wing spin, all the time. they pretend Caddell is a Democrat, when he works for FOX, and he has not been a Democrat for years, it's wrong and dishonest. Especially when there are real Democrats out there, Beck just wont let any of them on his show. I noticed that when Beck comes back from a commercial he says Hello America. Like he's talking to all of America, haha. Earth to Beck, you get 2 million viewers a day, and those 2 million viewers are all right-wing Republicans. That is not all of America, it's less than 1% of America, and that less than 1% who watch you are all partisan Republicans. So stop pretending you are speaking to all Americans, you are speaking to a small percentage of fools that believe your insane spin. Most of America does not watch you, and would not watch you even if they got paid to. Then Beck trashed Maureen Dowd for an article she wrote saying that some of the town hall protestors are fake. When all she did was report the truth, Beck has to try and discredit her because he cant handle the truth, so he has to claim she is the liar. Beck also claimed her, Obama, Pelosi, and all the liberals are trying to silence everyone. Which is just insane, they are only speaking the truth to counter the spin from the right. And the only people trying to silence anyone are the fake town hall protestors from the right, they are the people who shout other people down so they can not speak. Beck is living in bizarro world, because the right is trying to silence people, not the left. And if you notice, Beck never says one word about these fake protestors, he just ignores it. He never says a word about the swastika signs, or the racial faxes, of the Hitler signs, he ignores it all, then he claims the left is doing the Nazi stuff, when it's the right that is doing it all. Just look at the photos, they show them with Hitler signs and they have painted a swastika on a Democrat Congressmans office. But crazy Beck ignores it all to claim Obama is like the Nazis. It's nothing but a diversion trick, and flat out lies. Beck even said Katy Abrams is real, when she is as fake as it gets. She went to a town hall meeting and said she only got involved in politics after Obama came out with his health care plan. She said she is not a Republican, and not a partisan. But then we found out she is a die-hard Republican who has been in politics since 2006, that she is a regular on right-wing message boards, and even plans right-wing events. She was busted as a fake, and a liar. Yet Beck had her on his radio show yesterday and claims she is a real protestor who was abused by the big bad liberal media. Just so you know here are the facts. Katy Abram is a member of this message board group. Group: www.meetup.com Location: Lebanon, PA Meetup member since: December 16, 2006 Birthday: Not yet added Interested in new Meetup Groups about Conservatives, Glenn Beck What say you Glenn? She has been doing this since December of 2006, which means she is a proven fake, and a liar. But you claim she is honest about her protests, proving you are a liar too. The Wednesday 8-12-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 13, 2009 - 7:30am Beck opened the show with an upside down globe saying the world is upside down, and maybe it is in his crazy world. He said he had big news for the 912ers, the nuts who do the website he started. Then he mocked Obama because he reads from a teleprompter, when everyone does it, including Beck and all the past presidents. Beck put his insane spin on a statement Obama made about doctors doing un-needed things to make more money from it. Which they do, but Beck acted like they dont. Then he asked Obama to give him one name, like Obama watches his crazy show. The whole thing was ridiculous, Beck spun it into Obama said doctors are cutting feet off to make more money. Beck trashed the media and asked where the tough questions are. Earth to Beck, it was a town hall meeting, the people asked the questions, the media did not ask any questions. Obama debunked Becks lies and he did not like it, so he played clips of Obama at the town hall meeting. Beck played partial (out of context) quotes from Obama, then misrepresented what he said, called him the liar, then claimed Obama was guilty of blatant intellectual dishonesty. Ummmmm, ok sparky. Then Beck cried about the media attacking sarah Palin, again. Then he implied Obama will kill old people, trashed Obama for his fiscal and economic policies, said Obama is bankrupting the country, made another Nazi comparison, then had some right-wing nut named David Buckner on to agree with every crazy word he said. Then Beck, Buckner, and the giant chalkboard took over, haha. On the chalkboard Beck had written Fed Monetizing Debt. Beck and Buckner went on some massive rant about how Obama and the Fed are going to bankrupt America, they even compared it to what happened in Zimbabwe. Earth to Beck and Buckner, the USA is not Zimbabwe, so what in the hell are you nut jobs talking about. What's really funny is while Beck is talking all this end of the country nonsense, the economic numbers are getting better. Job loss is slowing, the market is up, the GDP numbers are improving, the unemployment number dropped to 9.4, car sales are up thanks to cash for clunkers, and yet Beck claims the sky is falling because Obama is spending some money. It's not only right-wing spin, it's pure lies. Not to mention George W. Bush and the Republicans caused most of it, yet Beck blames it all on Obama. let's remember that Obama has only been the president for 6 months, and all this mess was caused by Bush. And notice that Beck never has any Democrats on his show to give the other side. When Olbermann or Maddow do that, his good friend O'Reilly calls it a violation of journalist standards, when Beck does it O'Reilly says nothing, and then he even has the biased nut on his show once a week. Folks this is not journalism, and it's not even close. It's GOP talking points gone mad, hosted by a crazy right-wing nut. Then he fills the show with other right-wing nuts who agree with him, talk about Nazi propaganda comparisons, this is it. What Beck is doing is exactly what Hitler did with his propaganda programs. So if anyone should be compared to the Nazis it's Glenn Beck, he is the one using the propaganda tactics, just like Hitler did. Beck talked about the Southern Poverty Law Center report on right-wing militias. Of course Beck ignored all the details in the report, to claim it was all bull, and just a set up so that if anyone does any violence they can blame him and O'Reilly for it. Here is a little of the report, and btw, Beck never mentioned any of this. Incensed by the election of the first black US president, right-wing militia groups in the United States are rising again after a decade of decline, according to new research on extremist groups released on Wednesday. But according to Glenn Beck it's all bull, and just made up by the left to make him and O'Reilly look bad. Even though the SPLC is non-partisan, and that is the same garbage they said when the Government warning came out about increased right-wing hate. Then Dr. tiller was killed by the right-wing nut, then the liberal church was shot up by the right-wing nut, after Beck and O'Reilly said it was just a biased report by the liberal Obama administration. When it turned out to be 100% true, now they deny this report is true, because they are biased idiots who can not admit to reality when it makes them look bad. Beck even had the crazy right-wing Dr. keith Ablow on to agree with him, and tell him he is not crazy. I'm thinking this Dr. Ablow is a little crazy himself, because you have to be crazy to tell Beck he is not crazy. Beck said if the Obama health care bill passes some of the money will pay for bike trails and farmers markets. Which is total nonsense, yet Dr. Ablow sat there and told Beck he is not crazy. It's all right-wing propaganda, from Beck and his buddy Dr. Ablow. I guess Beck thinks that if he has a shrink on to say ignore all the insane stuff he says, and believe me when I say he is not crazy, then people will believe it. Psssst, Glenn, it's not working. When you spend an hour a day spewing out insane right-wing spin and lies, you are seen as a crazy man, and nothing your nut job doctor friend says will change that. And then this segment was just strange. President Obama has an information spokeswoman, her name is Linda Douglass. She is a former journalist, and her job is to debunk the spin and lies about Obama and his policies. Beck called her the Obama disinformation czar. Then he said he has his own disinformation czar. Now get this, Beck had a male staffer dress up as a woman, dress, wig, makeup, everything. He/she impersonated Linda Douglass, and gave a 2 or 3 minute report to Beck on the air. Yes you heard me right, beck had the guy dress like a woman and impersonate Linda Douglass. They both implied Obama does nothing but lie, and that his spokeswoman backs up his lies. It was one of the strangest things I have ever seen on a so-called news show. And I thought O'Reilly had some stupid segments, that was the stupidest. Beck also said he believes everything he says on the radio and the tv show, or he would not say it. He talked some 912 project nonsense, and had what he called his e-mail segment. The e-mail segment turned out to be one e-mail, from a Beck lover, who praised him for the great and truthful journalism he does every day. And that was about it, once again not one Democrat was on the entire show, not one, none. I may be wrong, but how can FOX have a slogan that says fair and balanced, when their top 3 shows almost never have any balance. Beck is 100% right-wing bias, Hannity is about 99% right-wing bias, and O'Reilly is about 96% right-wing bias. I guess that's balance in their world. The rest of us see it for what it is, one sided GOP talking points pretending to be news. Beck Denies he Said Eugenics & Selective Death Are Coming By: Steve - August 12, 2009 - 3:30pm At least last night he denied it, but he did say it in March on his Radio show, and in May on his own website, in fact, that article is still there. Last night on his Fox News show, Beck presented another one of his patented montages filled with Nazi imagery, this time examining “the beginnings of and the history of eugenics.” Beck warned that “the people who are writing their blogs in the basement” would claim that “Glenn is saying eugenics is coming.” “No, I am not. I am not saying anything like that at all,” said Beck. “Eugenics are not coming.” After the nearly four minute movie, Beck again said that “no one is saying that eugenics is coming.” But despite what he now claims, the fact is that Beck has previously claimed that policies being sought by President Obama would lead to eugenics. In March of 2009 Beck commented on President Obama overturning the ban on federally funded stem-cell research. Beck argued that funding stem-cell research would lead directly to a search for a new “master race,” the revival of Eugenics, and the reincarnation of the Nazi's “final solution.” Believing that Obama's success as president would hasten the arrival of his conspiracy theory, Beck then declared, “I hope Barack Obama fails” BECK: So here you have Barack Obama going in and spending the money on embryonic stem cell research, and then some, fundamentally changing – remember, those great progressive doctors are the ones who brought us Eugenics. It was the progressive movement and it science. Let’s put science truly in her place. If evolution is right, why don’t we just help out evolution? That was the idea. And sane people agreed with it!In reality, of course, stem-cell research has nothing to do with the search for a master race. And Obama's executive order is a huge win for the millions of people who suffer from spinal cord injuries, diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis and many other illnesses. In May of 2009 Beck wrote an article about it on his website. Notice the headline. Universal Health + old people = deathBut of course he never said it last night, he just said it in March and May of this year, on his Radio show and his personal website. Geico Pulls Ads From Glenn Beck’s Show By: Steve - August 12, 2009 - 1:00pm Glenn Beck has been under fire in recent weeks for his comments that President Obama is a “racist” with a deep-seated hatred for white people. Since ColorofChange called on its members to urge Beck’s advertisers to drop his show, three advertisers have pulled out. Today, ColorofChange announced that Geico Insurance is joining them: "On Tuesday, August 4, GEICO instructed its ad buying service to redistribute its inventory of rotational spots on FOX-TV to their other network programs, exclusive of the Glenn Beck program,” said a spokesperson for GEICO Corporate Communications in an email to ColorOfChange.org. “As of August 4, GEICO no longer runs any paid advertising spots during Mr. Beck’s program."Men's Wearhouse and Sargento are out too. And btw, Beck was on the O'Reilly Factor just last night and none of this was ever mentioned. Imagine if Keith Olbermann called Bush a racist who hated black people, then advertisers started pulling their ads from his show. Beck and O'Reilly would be all over that story, but when it happens to Beck they both ignore it like it never happened. The Tuesday 8-11-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 12, 2009 - 8:00am Beck opened the show all serious, and said people should listen close because it will not be a sound bite show. Then the serious Glenn Beck went on a 4 minute rant about Hitler and his Nazi eugenics program. All during his insanity rant, he talked over black and white video of Hitler and the Nazis. He did a voice over with all kinds of crazy talk that implied Obama was like Hitler and the Nazis, and that he was going to put in place a Nazi like eugenics program in America. Then after all that Nazi propaganda, Beck said that he is not saying Obama is going to do it, that it's only possible. So Beck just spent 4 minutes drilling eugenics and Nazi images into your head, while talking about Obama and his administration. Then he claims he did not imply at all that Obama might try to do it here in America. My God does he think people are stupid, it was a subliminal message that Obama is like Hitler and the Nazis, and that he wants to create a master race and kill all the sick and old people. Then he wondered why there is so much hate in the country, hello, because of nut jobs like you, spewing out this insane Nazi propaganda. Beck even held up an old Nazi poster and talked about his daughter, then the lunatic cried again. Does he go one night without crying, not as far as I can tell. He implied that if Obama gets his health care plan passed, sick kids like he has may not get the medical treatment they need. Which is just ridiculous, if you like your current health care plan you can keep it, and nothing in the bill denies care to kids or old people. Beck just plays the fear card, by making this crap up to scare people into opposing the bill. he talked about end of life nonsense, and that if you are a teen you are worth fourteen 85 year olds, as if that is how they would decide who gets to live, it's just insanity. Beck implied that if the Obama health care plan passes, he could bankrupt the country some day in the future, then there would not be enough money to pay for everyones care. Then they would decide who should live and who should die, it was just total right-wing propaganda nonsense. About 4 or 5 times during the show, this text would pop up on the screen. One teen = fourteen 85 year olds.Implying that Obama would let fourteen 85 year olds die to save 1 teen. This is the most ridiculous lie I have ever seen anyone on tv put out, it's total right-wing propaganda, total fear tactics, and total lies. The nut even implied that Obama might put drugs in the water to make people sterile to control population growth, and have forced abortions. I mean this is UFO sighting crazy, it's pure insanity. How this man got a tv news show is a miracle, he is off the charts crazy. FOX should be embarrased to have this lunatic on the air. Then he had 3 right-wing nut jobs on the show to agree with him, and of course they are all Republicans who hate Obama and all liberals. Not 1 Democrat in sight to counter all this propaganda, just Beck and 3 other right-wing nuts to spew out Hitler eugenics nonsense. Here are their names, remember them, because you should never believe anything these lunatics say. 1) Carter SneadBeck called them the big brains, when they are nothing but big nuts. they agreed with Beck and talked about end of life garbage etc. Beck said this show was the truth on the Obama health care plan, when it was nothing but spin and lies from 4 right-wing lunatics. They just used Hitler eugenics end of life/fear tactic propaganda, and if you believe any of this crap you should be in the padded rooms next to the other 3 nut jobs he had on. Not 1 Democrat or anyone was on to give the other side, which as O'Reilly would say, is a violation of journalist standards, oops I forgot, beck is not a journalist. He's just a paid spin doctor for the GOP, my bad, I simply forgot, haha. Then Beck went to the famous chalkboard, he stands at the chalkboard on a table about 4 feet off the ground, why, who the hell knows, lol. And on the chalkboard Beck had a tree, the Obama universial health care tree. Then he went on a 2 minute rant about how it all links to Obama, and if it passes all the old people will die, or something like that. At the end he tried to link Obama to some insane Nazi deal, the T-4 program, and he asked the 3 guests if they agree with him, all you heard was silence, haha. Even the 3 right-wing nuts would not go that far, and none of them agreed with him on that. It was actually pretty funny, Beck had no clue what to do because he thought at least 1 of them would agree, but none of them did, and it was an awkward silence for about 5 seconds. Then Beck changed the subject because he knew that one was going nowhere. Now let me get serious, if you actually believe this nonsense Beck is putting out you are just stupid, and you will believe anything. Go check it out for yourself, but do it on a non-partisan website, not foxnews.com or any right-wing websites. Then you will see it's all lies, Back is a partisan idiot that just makes it up to make Obama look bad and hope someone believes him. Obama even gave a town hall meeting today and debunked all this spin that Beck and the Republicans are putting out. And yet Beck still did an entire show with 3 right-wing idiots, who just lied their ass off about everything, basically calling the president a liar. This is passed off as the truth, it's funny to even use the word truth, because it's just pure lies. The Monday 8-10-09 Glenn Beck Show Review By: Steve - August 11, 2009 - 12:00pm Beck opened the show saying that he is feeling good because he ate a lot of pie over the weekend, ummmmm ok. Then he mocked Obama with a fake voice that was insulting to him, he basically made fun of Obama and his health care plan, like a 5 year old would do. Beck said Obama needs to say more about his health care plan, tell the people more, which is ridiculous because he is on tv almost every day talking about it, and some people say he is on tv too much. Bill Maher is doing jokes about Obama going on tv too much, so he's damned if he does, and damned if he dont. Then Beck talked about the fake town hall protests, and acted like they are real people. He said he hates the media reporting on it, yeah because they exposed them as the fake astroturf losers they are, so of course he hates it. Beck pretends they are real people, real Americans as he called them. When he knows a lot of them are bused in plants, that are just there to disrupt the meeting and make it look like everyone is opposed to the Obama health care plan. Beck played partial out of context video clips of Democrats, and then he misrepresented what they said. Which is what him and O'Reilly complain about when someone does it to them, yet they do it too, making them both massive hypocrites. And btw, Beck never has any of them on his show to counter what he says, or have any Democrat on to counter it, so it's all just one sided biased spin from Beck. Then the nut job put the phone numbers of the Senate and the White House switchboard on the screen, and told his insane viewers to call those numbers and voice your opinion. But he added, make sure you are nice and respectful when you call, haha, yeah right. That's CYA bullshit, so when his crazy viewers make disrespectful calls he can say he told them to be polite, when he knows what those freaks are gonna do. Then Beck said Pelosi called the protestors at the town hall meetings un-American. Which is a 100% flat out right-wing lie, Pelosi said it was un-American to go to a town hall meeting and shout people down so they can not voice their opinion. She did not call anyone un-American, so as usual Beck and his crew twist a liberals words around to make them look bad. He even had the crazy Michelle Malkin on to agree with him. Beck talked about the SEIU guys who beat up the conservative, he called them brownshirts. Malking agreed and said Obama endorsed their violence, which is pure insanity and ridiculous. Obama did not endorse anything, and in fact, has said there should be no violence, so as usual she is lying her right-wing ass off, and Beck gives her a tv show to do it on. Beck also talked about the false Obama death panel garbage, the nonsense the right is using to scare old people. Palin wrote about it, then retracted it when she took a lot of heat for the lie. While Beck and his crew picked it up and claim it's true, one lies and the rest swear to it, even after it's been proven to be a lie. Beck said he will have more on it tonight, and I cant wait, haha. Beck said tough times are coming, when things are getting better, and good times are coming. Then the nut job jumped on top of his desk and started looking at a big chalkboard with some writing on it, wow is this guy nuts. He had a drawing in chalk of a guy sitting on a fence, then he rambled on for 2 minutes about picking a side and getting off the fence, ummmmm, ok. Can someone please call the mental ward, they have an escaped patient with a show on FOX, lol. Then Beck had Dr. Keith Ablow on to talk some more crazy insanity. Beck told him the Democrats are using fear tactics to get the Obama health care plan passed, and this wacko Dr. Ablow agreed with him, proving he is as nuts as Beck is. The right is using fear tactics, they are the ones telling people Obama is going to kill them when they get too old, that's fear tactics, from the right. It's insane to say the Democrats are using fear tactics, all they are doing is countering the right-wing lies on the bill with the facts. Obama even started a reality check website with the facts, to give people the truth about the bill. Beck called it all lies and told his viewers to not believe any of it, he called it propaganda. Then he went through a list of GOP talking points on the GE $50 million dollar fine, the debt limit being raised, etc. He even said there is a provision in the bill that would give better health care to illegal immigrants than to legal Americans. Which is just nonsense, Beck and his right-wing friends spin parts of the bill to mean things that are not true. It's just more propaganda to make people oppose the bill, based on lies about it. I have to admit this is the first time I watched an entire Glenn Beck show. And I have to say that Beck is even more of a liar, and more crazy than I thought he was. It's an entire hour of right-wing spin and lies, with all Republican guests to back him up, there was not one Democrat on the entire show, and not one word of truth from anyone. It's like watching a tv shows from a mental ward, done by a crazy man. How anyone can watch this insanity and believe any of it is beyond me. If you check out what Beck is saying, you will find out it's all spin, or a flat out lie, virtually nothing he says is true. Beck even pulled an O'Reilly to claim both the left and the right hates him. He quoted one Republican Congressman who told people to turn Beck off because he is putting out fear and lies. Then he claimed everone on the right hates him too, based one what ONE Republican Congressman said. Which proves he is fair and balanced because both sides hate him. It's the same trick O'Reilly uses, in fact, he probably learned it from O'Reilly. Hey Glenn, you are a fool, and nobody is buying that garbage. Not to mention that ONE Republican Congressman who told people to turn you off, will probably be voted out of office for saying it. Then Beck cried about people misrepresenting what he says, when he just spent a whole hour misrepresenting what Obama and the Democrats said. Nothing Beck said in the entire hour was true, he used partial quotes and out of context video clips to spin what Obama said, and what the Democrats like Pelosi said. Then he had 2 Republican guest on to agree with his spin, with 0 Democrats to counter his right-wing spin. Beck told his viewers that he is not insane, then he played video clips of his insane rants. Dear Glenn, if you have to tell people you are not insane, you probably are. At the end of the show he got all serious and pulled some fake dog tags out of his suit shirt, talked some God crap, and almost cried, again. Does this moron cry on every show, just asking. After watching a full hour of Beck for the first time I got an idea, instead of waterboaring people, just make them watch the Glenn Beck show. After 15 minutes they will give up all their info to avoid having to watch any more of that insanity. Frank Schaeffer on Glenn Beck And The Right By: Steve - August 10, 2009 - 6:00pm Frank Schaeffer said this on the Friday Rachel Maddow program: FRANK SCHAEFFER, AUTHOR, “CRAZY FOR GOD”: Thanks for having me on, Rachel. MADDOW: Do you think that calling the president a Nazi, calling the president Hitler is an implicit call for politically motivated violence? SCHAEFFER: Yes, I do. In fact, this rings a big bell with me because my dad, who was a right-wing evangelical leader, wrote a book called “A Christian Manifesto” that sold over a million copies. And in that book, he compared anybody who was pro-abortion to the Nazi Germans and he said that using violence or force to overthrow Nazi Germany would have been appropriate for Christians, including the assassination of Hitler. So, what‘s really being said here is two messages. There is the message to the predominantly white, middle-aged crowd, the people screaming at these meetings, trying to shut them down. But there‘s also a coded message to what I would call the “looneytunes,” the “fruitloops” on the side. It‘s really like playing Russian roulette. You put a cartridge in the chamber, you spin, and once in a while it goes off. And we saw that happen with Dr. Tiller. We‘ve seen it happen numerous times in this country with the violence against political leaders whether it‘s Martin Luther King or whoever it might be. We have a history of being a well-armed, violent country. And so, really, I think that these calls are incredibly irresponsible. The good news is that it shows a desperation. The far-right knows they have lost. They‘ve lost the hearts and minds of most American people, for instance, who want health care. But they also know they have a large group of people who are not well-informed, who listen to only their own sources, who buy the lies, for instance, all this nonsense about euthanasia being mandatory and all the rest of it, and these people can be energized to go out and do really dreadful things. And the Glenn Becks of this world literally are responsible for unleashing what I regard as an anti-democratic, anti-American movement in this country that is trying to shut down legitimate debate and replace it with straight out intimidation. It is ironic they‘re drawing a parallel to Hitler. I wouldn‘t draw such a parallel, but I would draw a parallel to the Brown Church of 1930s who got into a habit of shutting down dissent and making it look as if they had a majority by spreading out in groups just as these folks do, screaming the loudest and making debate impossible. The problem is, we‘re not talking about most Americans, we‘re talking about a small, angry group of white people who you know, to paraphrase Bart Simpson, the election broke their brains. They‘re angry. And they are ready to do just about anything to stop the process at this point because they‘d rather see us all lose than admit defeat. I mean, you look at the way they went after Sotomayor and called her a racist. You look at them now using all these foundations and these groups, lobbyists and others pouring millions of dollars from the insurance industry and stirring up misinformed, right-wing white people, not terribly bright people, the sort of people who are yelling at these meetings. There is a coded message here. And that is that you have a group of people who like Rush Limbaugh would rather see the president and the country fail, and their coded message to their own lunatic fringe is very simple—and that is go for broke. When you start comparing a democratically-elected president, who is not only our first black president but a moderate progressive, to Adolf Hitler, you have arrived at a point where you are literally leading—leaving a loaded gun on the table, saying the first person who wants to come along and use this, go ahead. Be our guest. Now, all these people, when something bad happens, will raise their holy hands in horror and say, of course, we didn‘t mean that. We were just talking about being Americans. It‘s American to protest. B.S. They know exactly what‘s out there. There is a whole public there who went out and stopped up on ammunition and guns thinking Obama would take away their weapons. One such person shot down three policemen in Pittsburgh. I‘d like to know exactly what Glenn Beck and FOX News will say the morning after someone takes a shot at our president or kills a senator or congressman. And if it‘s one of the people who we find a little note in their car or the literature or their television watching habits whose tied to these people who are stirring the pot, or tied to these foundations that people, like Dick Armey, are running, trying to use insurance company money to make look this fake grassroots movement then we‘ll see what happens. But at that point we‘ll be in a new zone and it‘ll be too late. Someone sits at his desk with a cardboard cutout of Pelosi's face over theirs; he offers "Pelosi" a glass of wine and barks at her, "Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!" He laughs. "I really just wanted to thank you for having me over here to wine country, though to be invited I thought I had to be a major Democratic donor or a longtime friend of yours, which I'm not. Uh, by the way, I put poison in your-no, I, uh…" He then goes on to make a bunch of tired "limousine liberal" jokes, like, "Hey, is that Sean Penn over there?" So he was real sincere about that whole "discouraging violence" thing, not. And he did this after the woman in New York (who worships him) was caught with the guns and ammo taking pics of the military base. She even thinks Obama is going to use military bases as concentration camps for Republicans who disagree with him. She got that from the Beck show, and she even writes about it on her myspace page. But when Beck was on the O'Reilly Factor recently, both Beck and O'Reilly denied that Beck ever said Obama was going to use military bases as concentration camps. Proving they are both liars, because she wrote on her myspace blog that she got the info from watching Beck's show, and she was caught taking pics of the military bases to see if she could prove it. She even called DHS and asked them if Obama was using the military bases as concentration camps, they told her no of course, and after she was arrested they had a shrink look at her. If Beck had not said any of that as he claimed, she would not have quoted him on her blog, and said he is right, or went to the military base to take the pics, or called DHS to ask them about it. Those actions prove Beck lied about saying it, and prove that O'Reilly had him on to defend his lies and back him up. And btw, how scary is it for a 49 year old mother of two, to take an assault rifle and a shotgun with 500 rounds of ammo with her to take those photos. If 49 year old mothers are doing that, just imagine what 49 year old men are doing that watch Beck's show. And one last thing, neither Beck or O'Reilly ever mentioned what this woman did, proving they are biased partisans who ignored the story. And Beck knew he was doing wrong, because he shut down the comments on his website. Yet he denies that anything he has ever said is causing anyone to do anything. When this woman wrote in her blog that she took the photos because of what she was hearing on Becks's show. And the right-wing nut who killed the liberals in the church a while back had books from O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, and Coulter in his house. Not to mention all of them had called Dr. tiller the Baby Killer for years, and then he was killed by a right-wing nut. Yet they still deny they had anything to do with any of it. If that's true, why are all these right-wing nuts doing this stuff after reading your books and watching your shows. Beck's Obama "Racist" Comment Cost Him Advertisers By: Steve - August 7, 2009 - 2:00pm Glenn Beck is feeling the consequences of his controversial comments on the July 28 episode of "Fox and Friends," when he said that Barack Obama was a "racist" who had a "deep-seated hatred for white people." Beck advertisers Procter and Gamble, Lawyers.com and Progressive Insurance have all pulled their ads from Beck's 5PM ET show. This comes in the wake of groups like ColorOfChange.org's efforts to get companies to distance themselves from Beck. FOX News even said they do not endorse what Beck said. Bill Shine, the Senior Vice President of Programming said, "During Fox & Friends this morning, Glenn Beck expressed a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions." GOP Congressman Tells People to Turn Beck Off By: Steve - August 6, 2009 - 2:20pm You know you are bad when even Republicans are telling people to turn you off, and of course none of this will ever be reported by O'Reilly or anyone at FOX News. As Congressman Bob Inglis (R-SC) spoke to a group of about 350 people at the Upstate Family Resource Center in Boiling Springs, he asked an outspoken attendee why she was afraid of Barack Obama. Someone in the crowd suggested the Congressman watch Glenn Beck. Inglis replied: "Turn that television off when he comes on." Let me tell you why. You want to know why? Because he's trading on fear. And you know what? Here's what I think: I think if you trade on fear, what you're doing is, you're not leading, you're just following fearful people.Wow, I'm shocked a Republican actually told the truth about Beck. But he will probably be voted out of office now, because in the Republican party you dont dare tell the truth about people like Beck without being punished for it. Beck Ignores Story of Armed Republican Taking Photos By: Steve - August 4, 2009 - 4:20pm Glenn Beck says that nobody ever does anything based on what he says, and that it's crazy to even imply they do. That it's all just made up by liberals to make him look bad, oops, then you have this story, the one he has totally ignored. Police find weapons in car of woman nabbed for trespassing at air baseAnd btw, if you go to Genovese's MySpace page, you'll see that it features the nice woman and the declaration "Molon labe" which is Greek for "Come and get them." This, as I found out, is a favorite code word among the new militias that are organizing, they are declaring that Obama will take their guns away only by deadly force. As Wikipedia notes, it's the equivalent of "Over my dead body." Genovese's MySpace blog declares, among other things, her total admiration for Glenn Beck: ...we the people. I just saw GlennBeck tell it like it is!She is also obsessed with FEMA and ardently believes that concentration camps are being built: He got me by surprise on his first call. I wasn't ready for him. I just called his direct line, and spent about 10 minuets on the phone with questions I wanted to ask him, being from DHS.----------------- And what a shocker, now her myspace page is private and you can only see it if she adds you as a friend.
