Woman Gets Death Threats After Beck Targets Her By: Steve - October 30, 2010 - 9:30am And of course neither Beck or O'Reilly will say a word about it, as they deny that anything they say leads anyone to any kind of violence, or threats of violence. The League of Women Voters has filed complaints with police in Evanston, IL and the FBI saying that one of their officials has been targeted by death threats relating to a candidatess debate she moderated last week. Kathy Tate-Bradish was a volunteer moderator at the October 21 debate in the state's 8th District and sparked conservative outrage when she expressed what was perceived as lukewarm support for reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Just as the debate was about to begin, an audience member asked Tate-Bradish whether the pledge would be recited. When she explained the pledge was not scheduled to begin the event, almost all in the crowd of more than 300 stood and enthusiastically recited it anyway. Tate-Bradish recited the pledge as well, but told the crowd afterwards that the Pledge is not typically recited at candidate debates moderated by the League. Within a few days, Tate-Bradish went from an unknown local League official to a right-wing villain, thanks to Fox News host Glenn Beck, who devoted a big portion of his October 25 show to attacking her personally: BECK: We wanted to look at the moderator, Kathy Tate-Bradish, from the League of Women Voters. Oh, she sounds so neutral and everything. I mean, she's even neutral on the Pledge, apparently - just a typical woman voter trying to get the truth out. No, not so much - not so much. The FBI told the Arlington Heights Daily Herald that the Tate-Bradish complaint has been received and is receiving due consideration. League of Women Voters Illinois Executive Director Jan Czarnik, who filed the complaint, told the FBI that Tate-Bradish had been turned into a cause celebre by Glenn Beck and Fox News. Czarnik provided the FBI death threats posted on the Internet against Tate-Bradish, and reported menacing posts on Fox News Channel's Facebook page and Beck's website, The Blaze. Joel Cheatwood, an executive who oversees Beck's show, issued a statement yesterday saying, "We're not going to comment on something that's hypothetical as we have not heard about this complaint." Mary Schaafsma, the issues and advocacy coordinator for the Illinois League, told ThinkProgress this afternoon that the only reason Tate-Bradish resisted reciting the Pledge was because it had not been included in the debate format, which the candidates had agreed to ahead of time, noting that the League has been doing candiate forums and debates like the one Beck highlighted for decades. She also said that following the threats, the League locked the doors to its Chicago offices for several days and alerted the building management of the possible threat. "I've been working in politics and nonprofits for a long long time and I never seen this level and pitch of vitriol," she said. Man Arrested For Threats Worshiped Glenn Beck By: Steve - October 29, 2010 - 11:30am In April, a Washington man named Charles Alan Wilson was arrested for threatening Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) for her vote to pass health care reform. He left a series of threatening messages on her voicemail, saying "It only takes one piece of lead. Kill the (expletive) senator! Now that you've passed your health-care bill, let the violence begin' and "I do believe that every one of you (expletive) socialist democratic progressive (expletives) need to be taken out." Wilson was arrested after a federal agent called him pretending to be from a group backed by Americans for Prosperity, the right-wing organization responsible for funding some of the grassroots opposition to health care reform. Wilson told the agent, who he thought was a fellow opponent to health care reform, that "I will not blink" when it comes to shooting the Senator. "It's not a threat, it's a guarantee," he said. And new details about the extent to which Wilson has been influenced by Fox News Glenn Beck. According to court records, Wilson's family blamed Beck for putting Wilson under a spell. Wilson's cousin submitted this letter to the court last month: What happened later with Charlie is something I think I can understand. He became basically housebound due to illness and his small world became even smaller. His brother got him a computer and he was able to stay connected with family. And it's true that Glenn Beck fiercely opposed health care reform, often in apocalyptic terms, saying that "This is the end of prosperity in America forever... the end of America as you know it," and asking "if this passes, don't we lose, really, the Democratic Party to the socialists?" This was coupled with some disturbingly violent rhetoric: Beck characterized Democrats as vampires, and then suggested "driving a stake through the heart of the bloodsuckers." He also said that "to the day I die, I am going to be a progressive hunter." This is not the first time an someone may have been motivated to conduct political violence because of what they saw on Beck's show. In July an unemployed California man loaded up his car with guns and ammunition, and was pulled over and arrested on his way to shoot up the Tides Foundation in San Francisco, a frequent Beck target. He later told a reporter that "I would have never started watching Fox News if it wasn't for the fact that Beck was on there. And it was the things that he did, it was the things he exposed that blew my mind. I said, well, nobody does this." And in April of this year, a man was arrested for threatening Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), his mother told reporters that she blamed his watching of Fox News and Glenn Beck. Beck Proves He Is A Liar & A Hypocrite By: Steve - October 29, 2010 - 10:30am Despite repeatedly saying he does not endorse candidates and that he is not "telling you who to vote for," Beck has made it perfectly clear to his audience which candidates he thinks they should support or oppose in the upcoming midterm elections. On November 30, 2009, Beck said this: BECK: I just gave an interview the other day, where people said 'so you're going to be endorsing candidates?' I said not over my dead body will I be endorsing candidates.Okay, so Beck does not endorse any candidates, because if he does it will ruin his credibility, so in his own words if he does it he loses his credibility. And then he not only endorsed candidates, he also told people who not to vote for, and what a shocker, not, all the people he said not to vote for are Democrats. Then on top of all that, he put all Republicans on his show, and asked them what he could do to help them. And he told his viewers to go to their fundraising website. Here are the facts. Beck has made clear to his radio audience who he thinks they should support or oppose. Discussing the Connecticut senate race on October 25th, Beck said this: "Do not vote for Dick Blumenthal. That's the one thing I do know. I know who this guy is." He later added that all he "needed to know" about Blumenthal's Republican opponent Linda McMahon was that "she's not Dick Blumenthal." On the same show Beck also said this: "Let's try California. You've got Jerry Brown. Jerry Brown. Now, Meg Whitman, she seems like a delightful person. But she's not Jerry Brown. I mean what part of this don't we understand." On September 16, Beck said this: "You want to talk about extremists? It's the progressives and the revolutionaries in the Democratic Party. Real revolutionaries. Now you look at O'Donnell. For some reason, they're all attacking her, and I have to ask myself, has anyone looked at Harry Reid's pet?" Beck then read a quote from Reid about O'Donnell's opponent Chris Coons and said that Coons is "a Marxist. The guy's a staunch anti-capitalist. You want to talk about a bad candidate. OK, you can talk about the masturbation thing all you want. Really? Is that what we've turned into in this country?" On April 30, Beck said this: "I'm about to break my policy and endorse a candidate. I don't endorse candidates, I don't think anybody needs my endorsement, but I'm going to endorse Rubio." On October 14, Beck discussed a controversial comment New York gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino said with Michelle Bachmann and said: "I live in the next state over from New York, and I don't even pay attention to this race. He's damn near nuts. He's still better than Cuomo. And now with one week before Election Day, Glenn Beck is no longer even trying to hide his political advocacy. Tuesday night, Beck pointed to a photo of Republicans Jim DeMint, Michele Bachmann, Jason Chaffetz, Ted Poe, John Culberson, and Mike Pence and said that "we need more people like this" elected to office. Beck finally showed his true colors, he turned his Fox News show into an hour-long telethon for Republican congressmen Bachmann, Chaffetz, and DeMint. At on point Beck turned to DeMint and asked, "What kind of help do you need?" DeMint promptly directed Beck's viewers to a GOP fundraising website. And it's not just Beck, Fox News has been giving the kind of help the GOP needs throughout this election cycle. Sharron Angle, the Republican candidate for Senate in Nevada, famously bragged to her supporters that appearances on a friendly press outlet like Fox News can be quite profitable. GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell even boasted that she had Sean Hannity in her back pocket. And to date, News Corp. has given at least $1.25 million to helping elect Republican governors and an additional $1 million the conservative Chamber of Commerce. Hosts and contributors at Fox like Dick Morris and Karl Rove have helped raise millions of dollars for Republican candidates. That is not only endorsing candidates, it's also telling people who to not vote for, and helping them to raise millions and millions of dollars. Not to mention the Morris and Rove groups spending millions of dollars to run ads in support of Republicans, or attacking Democrats. But Beck does not endorse candidates, yeah and I'm Elvis too. Beck Still Talking Violence & Nazis By: Steve - October 26, 2010 - 9:30am Beck claims he never talks violence, and that it's wrong to use Nazi comparisons. Then he is caught talking violence, and using Nazi comparisons, making him the biggest hypocrite in the country, except for maybe O'Reilly. In this clip Beck says Bodies will be piled on the steps of the Capitol, then in a sarcastic tone he says for the Tides Foundation I don't mean it literally: Earth to Glenn Beck, when you speak of piling bodies on the steps of the Capitol, you are sending a message to the crazy far right gun nuts who watch you. Even if you make a joke about it, you are still sending them a message, idiot. In this clip Beck says "Nobody is a Nazi at this point, but progressives have all the seeds of Nazis." Which is now ok, but when progressives compared Bush to a Nazi it was wrong with Beck, O'Reilly, etc. So you do the same thing you complain about, hypocrite. Beck is lucky there is no hypocrisy police, who handed out fines to people in the media for hypocrisy, because he would be broke. He does everything he complains about other people doing, and he does it worse than they do. Beck Blames Soros For Juan Williams Firing By: Steve - October 22, 2010 - 10:30am Beck implicates George Soros in Juan Williams firing, he said this: "voices are being silenced" by "jack-booted thugs of the left." And that is just ridiculous, to begin with, he has not been silenced. He still works for Fox, so he can say whatever he wants on Fox. Not to mention, just because you are not on NPR does not mean you have been silenced. He can still write op-eds, books, go on tv and radio news shows, etc. To say he has been silenced because NPR fired him is crazy talk. Proving once again that Glenn Beck is nuts, and btw, when CNN fired Rick Sanchez Beck did not say he has been silenced. Earth to Beck, people get fired, get over it man. Especially when the guy was pretending to be a Democrat, and he should have been fired a long time ago. Beck Fear Tactics Example 1001 & 1002 By: Steve - October 21, 2010 - 8:30am Beck warns: "You're being set up, America. Your way of life is at stake" Beck to Soros: "If anything happens to me...blood will be on your hands, sir" Now that's funny, the Republicans are the violent idiots who get their guns and kill liberals in churches and abortion clinics, or try to kill liberals at the Tides Foundation, so Beck claims the liberals are violent and may try to kill him, give me a break, what an idiot. Glenn Beck wants You To Donate Money By: Steve - October 18, 2010 - 9:30am Now think about this, does Beck want you to donate to the Red Cross, Wounded Warriors, or a Military family charity. No! He wants you to donate your hard earned money to a multi-million dollar right-wing corporate group, that plans to use that money to run partisan political ads for Republicans. Are you kidding me, this is ridiculous. They raise millions of dollars every year, from corporations. And this right-wing freak Glenn Beck wants you to give them more money, it's an outrage. Glenn Beck is telling his listeners to donate money to the Chamber of Commerce. And the Chamber of Commerce is not just an advocacy organization pursing an ideological right-wing agenda, like the National Rifle Association. It is a trade association representing some of the largest corporations in the world. Its board of directors counts among its members executives from Pfizer, Lockheed Martin, AT&T, US Airways, JPMorgan Chase & Co., IBM, and Verizon. And the crazy Glenn Beck is literally asking American workers to give their hard-earned wages back to their employers, so their employers can use that money to advocate a public policy agenda that benefits the rich at the expense of everyone else. And Beck is serious, he even donated $10,000 of his own money to them, and said he wants to set a record for fundraising for the COC. He wants you to send your money off to the Pfizers and JPMorgans of the world, as a gift. For Glenn Beck, it isn't enough to have a power structure that favors the corporate elite. He wants you to pay for it, too. Here is what I would do, laugh at the crazy Glenn Beck, and if you have any money to donate, give it to a Military charity, like the Wounded Warriors fund, or something like that. Nobody should give a dime to these corporations that already take in millions and millions of dollars to pay for ads to help Republicans. They plan to spend $75 million dollars on right-wing political ads, so ask yourself this one simple question. If they can afford to waste $75 million dollars on partisan political ads, do you think they need your $10 or $20 dollars, think about that. Beck Spends Full Hour Attacking The Tides Foundation By: Steve - October 16, 2010 - 8:30am Less than a week after it was reported that conspiracy theories pushed by Glenn Beck and the right-wing media drove a California man to plot the assassination of Tides Foundation employees, Beck devoted an hour-long show to demonizing Tides. And the Beck attacks were just hours after Tides released a letter calling on advertisers to stop financing the extremist rhetoric and conspiracy theories broadcast on Fox News. California highway shooter Byron Williams told investigators that "his intention was to start a revolution by traveling to San Francisco and killing people of importance at the Tides Foundation and the ACLU." As John Hamilton reported, Williams described Beck as "a schoolteacher." Williams repeatedly cited specific Beck broadcasts when discussing a conspiracy theory involving Soros, President Obama, and a Brazilian oil company -- a theory that Williams said informed his plot. Just hours before Beck's show, the Tides CEO called for Fox News ad boycott. Earlier that day on October 15, Tides CEO Drummond Pike released a letter in which he noted that Williams relied heavily on conspiracy theories advanced on Beck's show and called on advertisers to stop supporting Fox News. Pike noted that "businesses that pay to broadcast commercials on Fox News are subsidizing Glenn Beck's television show by continuing to pump money into the network," adding, "It has become clear that the only way to stop supporting Beck is to stop supporting Fox News." So what does Beck do, he spends the entire hour attacking the Tides Foundation of course. Proving that he is out of control, and that he wants some nut who watches him to kill liberals, he is doing everything but call on them to go kill liberals. Beck dedicated the show to attacking a project sponsored by the Tides Foundation and GreenFaith. The "Let There Be ... Stuff?" curriculum has been available since April for churches and other houses of worship to download at no cost and is designed to lead teenagers to "explore the relationship between their consumption, their faith, and the health of the planet." During the show, Beck admitted the Tides curriculum contains "some truth," but continued to attack it anyway. Beck said of the Tides-sponsored curriculum: "They are going right into our churches and our synagogues. It's for the planet, you know. They want you to join a group. That's the best thing our teens can do is join a group." Beck then linked Tides to the devil by holding up the curriculum and stating, "Is that sulfur I smell? Yes, I think so." During the show, Beck also said that the Tides Foundation is now "coming for your church and your faith." Beck told his viewers to "run for your life" if their church uses the Tides curriculum. "If you see anything like this going to your kids, run for your life. You are in the wrong church. I mean, unless you're an environmentalist that worships Gaia or whoever it is now." While discussing the Tides curriculum, Beck asked his guests, "Any doubt in your mind that the progressive left is coming for the kill on religion?" Guest Calvin Beisner replied, "Absolutely. And part of the reason is because traditional Christian faith, Biblical faith in America has been the most resistant to the whole progressive agenda." Folks this is crazy talk, and Glenn Beck is an insane liar. Remember this when some right-wing nut (who watches Beck every day) goes into a Tides Foundation building and kills someone, or goes into a church to kill some liberals. Because after it happens Beck will claim he is totally innocent, and that he had nothing to do with it. Beck Defends Republican Nazi War Reenactor By: Steve - October 15, 2010 - 9:30am If you had any doubt that Glenn Beck was a total right-wing stooge, all doubt has now been removed. When even the Republican minority leader Eric Cantor slammed the Republican Nazi War Reenactor, Glenn Beck comes out defending the man. Think about it, this guy thinks it's ok to dress up as a Nazi, and to make it worse, he had his son doing it too. Imagine what Beck would say if a Democratic candidate running for Congress did that, Beck would blow a gasket and spend a week smearing the guy. But when a Republican does it, he not only does not slam him, he defends it. Beck claimed it's the same as playing good cop bad cop, or cowboys and indians. Yes he really said that, here is the audio: And here is another good question, I wonder if Beck knows that no kids are playing good cop bad cop, like they do playing cowboys and indians, it's what police do during an interrogation. So that analogy is just stupid, and to compare either one of them to a grown man dressing up like a Nazi to play Nazi war games is ridiculous. More Fear Tactics Beck Claims To Never Use By: Steve - October 13, 2010 - 8:30am Beck has said over and over that he never uses fear tactics, but then he uses them again and again, it never stops. In fact, I could start a website page called "Beck Fear Tactics" and probably fill it with examples from every day he is on the air. The fear tactics are endless, and here is another example. Now Beck is telling Seniors that the "country is on fire" so they need to get off the golf courses and home school their grandchildren. Other than the fact that's a lie, and crazy talk, what if the parents of the grandchildren do not want their kids home schooled by a Senior citizen. And btw, Beck also told his followers to not let anyone tell you what to do, as he is telling them what to do. If you listen to this fool, you are just as bad as he is for spreading these lies and fear. Right-Wing Terrorist Admits Glenn Beck His Hero By: Steve - October 11, 2010 - 9:30am The man who had a 12 minute shootout with the Police on an Oakland freeway, has admitted in an interview that what he did was mostly because of Glenn Beck. John Hamilton wrote an article about it, and I will post some of it here, then you can follow the link and read the rest of it. And btw, here is an actual quote from Byron Williams: "I would have never started watching Fox News if it wasn't for the fact that Beck was on there. And it was the things that he did, it was the things he exposed that blew my mind." - Byron Williams Jailhouse Confession: How the right-wing media and Glenn Beck's chalkboard drove Byron Williams to plot assassination Byron Williams, a 45-year-old ex-felon, exploded onto the national stage in the early morning hours of July 18. According to the police investigation, Williams opened fire on California Highway Patrol officers who had stopped him on an Oakland freeway for driving erratically. For 12 frantic minutes, Williams traded shots with the police, employing three firearms and a small arsenal of ammunition, including armor-piercing rounds fired from a .308-caliber rifle. When the smoke cleared, Williams surrendered; the ballistic body armor he was wearing had saved his life. Miraculously, only two of the 10 CHP officers involved in the shootout were injured. In an affidavit, an Oakland police investigator reported that during an interview at the hospital, Williams "stated that his intention was to start a revolution by traveling to San Francisco and killing people of importance at the Tides Foundation and the ACLU." ---------------- Observers of this most recent act were mystified by one of Byron Williams' reported targets: the Tides Foundation, a low-profile charitable organization known for funding environmentalists, community groups, and other organizations. Beck, it turned out, had attacked Tides 29 times on his Fox News show in the year-and-a-half leading up to the shooting. Now, in exclusive interviews and written correspondence with journalist John Hamilton, Williams speaks for himself. He asks Hamilton to be his "media advocate" and repeatedly instructs him to watch specific broadcasts of Beck's show for information on the conspiracy theory that drove him over the edge: an intricate plot involving Barack Obama, philanthropist George Soros, a Brazilian oil company, and the BP disaster. Williams also points to other media figures -- right-wing propagandist David Horowitz, and Internet conspiracist and repeated Fox News guest Alex Jones -- as key sources of information to inspire his "revolution." Beck, in particular, he says, is "like a schoolteacher on TV." Williams tells Hamilton, "You need to go back to June -- June of this year, 2010 -- and look at all his programs from June, and you'll see he's been breaking open some of the most hideous corruption." www.mediamatters.org/research/201010110002 The problem here is that most of what Beck says is a lie, so Williams was driven to kill by lies mostly from Glenn Beck. And btw folks, Williams was on the way to kill liberals at the Tides Foundation. Which is a Foundation that most people have never even heard of, including me, and I am a big time liberal. Now think about this, beck had attacked the Tides Foundation 29 times on his Fox News show in the year-and-a-half leading up to the police shootout. And a search of all the media news shows during that time frame, revealed that Glenn Beck was the only person who even mentioned the Tides Foundation. And the big question is will Beck, O'Reilly or anyone at Fox news report this, haha, get real, it will never happen. They will all ignore it, because it shows that Beck and the far right nuts in the media, are driving people to try and kill liberals with their violence inspired lies. Milbank: Glenn Beck Is Dangerous By: Steve - October 8, 2010 - 8:30am On the 10-3-10 Howard Kurtz show Dana Milbank said this: Beck is dangerous, and he gives "fringe conspiracy theories" a large audience. Transcript: KURTZ: Beck says a lot of inflammatory things. That's part of his style. You see him as peddling conspiracy theories and talking about Nazis a lot. MILBANK: Yes. I think over his first 18 months, "Nazis" came up in his show 200 times, "fascists" another 200 times. But that's a constant theme, but it's also the floating of the fringe conspiracies. Even Bill O'Reilly has said he believes that Beck is successful because he's willing to take it about five steps further than O'Reilly is. And that is by going on "Fox & Friends" and saying, "I can't debunk the idea that our federal government, through FEMA, is operating concentration camps in Wyoming." KURTZ: But he didn't endorse that, but you're saying he raised it. MILBANK: He said, "I can't disprove it." Then a month later, he gets on the show and said, oh, actually, it turns out those were doctored photos from a North Korean prison. KURTZ: So he corrected. MILBANK: He corrected it a month later, after a rather violent incident related to that. KURTZ: OK. Well, you talk about going too far, and maybe this is related to this. There was a 2009 murder in Pittsburgh, committed by a guy who believes that the New World Order and government are plotting against our citizens. You say in the book, "It goes a bit too far to blame Glenn Beck for this, but Beck's words are inspiring the fringe." Now, isn't that guilt by association? MILBANK: Well, except that the people who are committing these acts often mentioned Glenn Beck themselves. We had another case of a guy shooting at the cops out in San Francisco, attempted to blow up the Tides Foundation, which was only mentioned on Beck's show. But when you have a guy who's taking, as the Anti-Defamation League says, these fringe conspiracy theories and giving them an audience of, I don't know, 10 million people a week on the radio, nearly three million a night on Fox News, you're elevating something that has always been on the fringe in American politics and putting it front and center. So while you can't be blamed for any individual act, it is evidence that he is disseminating a very dangerous doctrine. KURTZ: You think he's dangerous? MILBANK: Well, I think it's been manifestly true that he's dangerous, but he's very powerful as well. And when a man is frequently talking about Hitler and Nazis, and then you see the Tea Party rally with the same quotations of Tea Parties and Nazis, the one-world government, the United Nations taking over civilization, posters of Dachau, you have to say, where does all this come from and why is it suddenly out in the open? So, yes, that's why I think it's dangerous. KURTZ: So you mentioned his big audience. I mean, he gets a huge number in the afternoon on Fox, radio audience. So what makes him so popular? What do you make of the people who tune in for inspiration? MILBANK: I think it is just that. I mean, in a country of 310 million people, two million watching him is not a huge number. But it's a huge number -- a small number of very passionate followers. Now, I mean, I think some of this is he very cleverly speaks to -- he's a Mormon, very cleverly speaks in terms of Mormon prophesy and conspiracy theories. I think that generates some of his audience. And some of it is also out of fear. He talks about the world ending. People advertise for vegetable seeds on his show so you can keep it in a locked box, and when the apocalypse comes, you can plant it and grow vegetables in your back yard. He's pushing gold coins. So, his audience is very frightened people who really think the end is coming. Beck Mocked Man After Fireman Let House Burn Down By: Steve - October 7, 2010 - 9:30am We know that Glenn Beck is a lying right-wing con man, who is putting out right-wing propaganda to get rich, and make the Democrats look bad while doing it. But this is a low life move for even Glenn Beck. What kind of scum makes fun of a man who had his house burn down, which killed his 3 dogs and his cat btw, after the fireman let it burn down simply because he did not pay a $75.00 fee. The fireman even drove to the house then stood there and watched it burn down, are you kidding me, who does that. Glenn Beck and his idiotic co-host Pat Gray mocked the man. These low life jerks mocked the man and made fun of him. Last week South Fulton Fire Department firefighters from Obion, Tennessee, stood by and watched as the Cranick family's home burned down, because their fire-fighting services were available by subscription only, and the family had not paid the $75 fee. Then some right-wing writers at the conservative National Review, defended the county and argued that firefighting should not be a public service available to all, regardless of ability to pay. Now, another conservative has joined the defense. On his radio show Tuesday afternoon, right-wing talker Glenn Beck and his producer Pat Gray openly mocked the Cranick family. After playing a news clip explaining the situation, Gray used a southern drawl and began to mock Gene Cranick's explanation of how the county's firefighters refused to help his family. Beck then went on to complain that the county's actions in refusing to assist the Cranicks were justified. He explained that America will be having the argument about the case of the Cranicks and that it will go nowhere. Beck went on to say that the Cranicks would be sponging off their neighbors if the fire department had helped them put out their fire: GRAY: (mocking Cranick's accent) Even tho' I hadn't paid mah seventy five dollahs I thought dey'd put it out. I wanted 'em to put it out, but dey didn't put it out.Are you kidding me, only a low life piece of shit would make fun of a man who just had his house burn down over a lousy $75.00 fee. And the people that listen to this garbage are just as bad as Beck, because they keep him on the air. Beck believes that this should teach Americans lessons about personal responsibility. But where does Beck draw the line when it comes to opposing public services for those who have not paid fees. Would he oppose subscription-based police officers refusing to help a rape victim. What about a subscription-based military personnel refusing to stop a terrorist attack on a person or city that hasn't paid up. Beck and Gray can go to hell, and as Keith Olbermann would say, Glenn Beck, you are the worst person in the world. And to those fireman who went to the house, and then stood by and watched it burn, I hope you all go to hell. You should have put the fire out, then charged him double the $75.00 fee, or something like that. To stand there and watch the house burn down was just ridiculous. Great E-Mail From A Braindead Beck Lover By: Steve - October 6, 2010 - 10:30am Boy I love these e-mails from insane Beck lovers, enjoy: From: Scott Goulet - sgoulet02@yahoo.comAnd I do not use wikepedia, even though I can spell wikipedia, I rarely ever use it for anything. Not to mention under liar it says see Glenn Beck, and virtually 99% of what he says is a lie, which is not just my opinion, it's a proven fact. Beck Sold Less Than 10% Tickets For NJ Rally By: Steve - October 5, 2010 - 9:30am Not only did he only sell 700 tickets, this event/rally for Beck was on the same weekend he appears on the cover of the New York Times Sunday magazine, and again we're told he's a hugely important and influential figure in American politics. So if that's true how come nobody bought any tickets. From the Asbury Park Press: A crowd of about 700 people, comprised mostly of Tea Party supporters, gathered at Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday to help kick off conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck's "Restoring America'' tour. And this: Although the crowd was well short of the 8,000 capacity for the arena, there was a large contingent of conservative media in attendance. Beck Caught Lying & Smearing Obama Again By: Steve - October 3, 2010 - 8:30am Wow, if Beck had a dime for every time he lied and smeared President Obama he would be a billionaire. I report on some of it here, but it would be a 24/7 job to report it all. I am guessing I report maybe 1% of the lies and smears Beck puts out. Here is the latest lie/smear of Obama. On the Friday 1-1-10 Glenn Beck show Beck and guests John Bolton and Stuart Varney lied about a federal report to portray it as expressing "the worldview of the Obama administration." When in fact, the document was issued during the Bush administration and is designed to "stimulate strategic thinking," not establish the Obama administration's worldview. Beck also falsely portrayed the report's discussion of trends in developing nations as applying to the United States. Beck, Bolton, and Varney implied the Obama administration were to blame for the Global Trends contents. Beck: "This is what the government says the world is going to look like in 2025." Bolton: Report assumes American "decisions have already been made" and are "congenial to the Obama administration." Varney: "The worldview of the Obama administration, and of the president himself, is embedded in that report." That is like the three stooges of Fox News, one lies and the other two swear to it. And now the facts, the report was released before the Obama administration took over, it describes factors and trends meant to "stimulate strategic thinking" about policy. The report was issued two months before President even Obama took office in January of 2009. The report was prepared by the National Intelligence Council, it describes as "the fourth unclassified report" in a series, and the document was released in November 2008. But Beck and his stooges never said a word about it, until after Obama took over, even though it was put out while Bush was still in office. The report states that it was designed "to stimulate strategic thinking about the future by identifying key trends, the factors that drive them, where they seem to be headed, and how they might interact" and makes clear that "timely and well-informed intervention can decrease the likelihood and severity of negative developments and increase the likelihood of positive ones." Beck has repeatedly smeared the Obama administration as seeking "global redistribution of wealth" Beck: Obama's "ideology is global redistribution of wealth." On his September 16th Fox News show, Beck claimed that the Obama administration "and the progressives and, quite honestly, the Marxists" share the view that there's one pie to divide. On his September 21st radio show, Beck claimed that Obama's "ideology is global redistribution of wealth, which doesn't make sense if you are thinking like a capitalist." And it's all made up garbage by Glenn Beck and the other stooges at Fox, none of it is true, except that there is a report, but that's the only thing they got right. It was a report put out under Bush, so Beck waits until Obama is the President, then he uses it to smear Obama, 2 years after the report was put out, and claim it proves Obama is planning a global redistribution of wealth. The whole thing is a lie, a political smear job, and just ridiculous. And if you believe one word of what Beck is saying, you need a check up from the neck up, and fast. |
