Beck: Obama Is Lying To Us & You Are In Danger
By: Steve - September 30, 2010 - 9:30am

Here is some more of those Fear Tactics Glenn Beck claims to never use. From the 9-29-10 Glenn Beck radio show.

Earth to Glenn Beck, under Fear Tactics in the dictionary it says see Glenn Beck. Because that is what normal people with normal brains call Fear Tactics.

Beck Warns Of Fear Tactics While Using Fear Tactics
By: Steve - September 28, 2010 - 8:30am

This is the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Beck is the biggest fearmonger in the country, who uses more fear tactics than anyone, and yet he is crying that the Government is using fear tactics.

On his 9-27-10 radio show Beck said this: Beck warns that government is using "fear tactics" and that in the end the "dangerous killers show up"

And that's not even close to 1% of the fear tactics Beck has used, here are a few other things he has said just this month.

-- Mixed message: Beck spews violent rhetoric, but tells audience to reject violence

-- Beck warns that "violence is coming" and complains that "the left will blame it on me"

-- Beck warns of "revolutionaries" who will "set our streets on fire"

-- Beck agrees that "the liberals" are working at "stirring up racial tension" possibly to "stir up violence"

-- Beck: "We are fighting the darkness"

-- Hawking his book, Beck suggests people may sic dogs or turn fire hoses on his supporters

-- Beck promises food insurance will prepare you for "catastrophic" event like dollar collapse and skyrocketing food prices

-- Beck: "They're trying to beat it out of you slowly. Boil you, basically, like a frog"

-- Beck: Tea Party is, in part, trying to "make sure that our children aren't sold as slaves to China"

Basically Beck is the king of fear tactics, that's all he does. He uses fear to scare people with lies about President Obama and the Democratic Party. Then he complains that liberals and the Government are using fear tactics. Making him not only a partisan liar, it makes him a massive hypocrite too.

Howard Kurtz Slams Fox Reporting On Coons
By: Steve - September 26, 2010 - 9:30am

Kurtz slams Fox's coverage of Coons: "This bearded marxist business is bogus"

On his September 16 show, Sean Hannity said "some unpopular Democrats are coming out of the woodwork to support Delaware's 'bearded Marxist'" -- without mentioning that the title was based on what Coons called a joke that his friends made. On his radio show that day, Glenn Beck called Coons a "Marxist" and a "staunch anti-capitalist." On The O'Reilly Factor on September 17, both Beck and Bill O'Reilly claimed that Coons is "a Marxist" and "admitted it." On Fox & Friends on September 18, Eric Bolling said O'Donnell's "opponent now is a self-described Marxist."

O'Reilly even joked with a guest that in Delaware you have a choice of a witch or a marxist, and he would go with the witch before the marxist.

And now the facts: Coons never called himself a Marxist, and Politico never claimed that he did; the title is a play off of what Coons said was a joke by his friends.

After Politico reported that Chris Coons, the Democratic candidate for Senate running against Christine O'Donnell in Delaware, had written an opinion piece for his college newspaper titled "Chris Coons: The Making of a Bearded Marxist," right-wing media figures jumped on the story to attack Coons. What they failed to mention was that the title was a play off what Coons called a joke that his friends made; the right wing gleefully and ludicrously declared that Coons had called himself a Marxist.

In a statement to Politico, the Coons campaign reinforced this fact:

Dave Hoffman, a Coons campaign spokesman, said the title of the article was designed as a humorous take-off on a joke Coon's college friends had made about how his time outside the country had affected his outlook.

Coons never identified himself as a Marxist in the college article, over 20 years ago, and he does not describe himself as a Marxist now; to say that he "admitted" to being a Marxist or is a "self-described Marxist" is simply a lie.

The whole thing was invented by the right-wing media, and if you notice they did not have Coons on Fox to respond to the marxist garbage, and they did that on purpose because they do not want him to dispute it. They just report the lie, without even asking him if it's true or not. And they call that journalism, which is just laughable. It's partisan right-wing propaganda, and it's one reason why Fox is seen as working for the GOP.

Beck Pretends he Would Share Pain of Spending Cuts
By: Steve - September 24, 2010 - 8:30am

Millionaire Beck pretends he would share pain of spending cuts: "I might lose my job...I might lose my home"

Are you kidding me, what a fraud. The moron makes $30 million dollars a year, and even if he was fired tomorrow he would still have enough money to last him the rest of his life. And he sure as hell would not lose his home.

Glenn Beck Is The King Of Fear Tactics
By: Steve - September 21, 2010 - 8:30am

I think we can all agree that our children will never be sold to China as slaves, right?

As we all know, Glenn Beck claims he is not a fearmonger, and that he does not use fear for political reasons. Ok, then how in the hell does he explain this statement from his 9-20-10 radio show.
BECK: Tea Party is, in part, trying to make sure that our children aren't sold as slaves to China.
Yes he actually said that, and here is the audio to prove it.

If that is not fearmongering for political reasons, there is no such thing. Because we all know that none of our children will to be sold to China as slaves, now, or ever. And we also know that it will never happen no matter what the Tea Party does, or does not do.

So the entire crazy statement from Beck is just ridiculous, and it was nothing but cheap fear tactics. The problem is that most of the fools that watch him are so brainwashed, they probably believe it. And that is the really scary part, that anyone believes what the fool says.

Beck Calls Progressives Terrorists
By: Steve - September 19, 2010 - 8:30am

Now this is great, last month Glenn Beck said progressives are terrorists, which is a hate statement. When you compare a progressive to a terrorist, that is about as hateful as you can get.

Then on the 9-17-10 Glenn Beck show he complained about the rising tide of hatred.

How insane is that, one day Beck is making a hate statement, then the next day he is complaining about hate. When he is pretty much the king of hate, it's ridiculous. Beck is either too stupid to understand he preaches hate, or he knows he does it and don't care. Either way it's wrong, and he is an idiot.

It would be like me saying Glenn Beck is a right-wing idiot, then complaining about other people calling liberals left-wing idiots. And btw, in my opinion Beck knows he is being a hypocrite, and he don't care. In fact, if hypocrisy was illegal, O'Reilly, Beck, and all of Fox News would be in prison for life.

Stewart & Colbert Having Dual 10-30 D.C. Rallies
By: Steve - September 18, 2010 - 9:30am

Mocking Fox News host Glenn Beck, Daily Show host Jon Stewart announced Thursday night the "Rally to Restore Sanity," which he later called the "Million Moderate March," scheduled for October 30th and intended for people who have better things to do than march on Washington.

The event's website describes the kind of people they are looking for:
Who among us has not wanted to open their window and shout that at the top of their lungs? Seriously, who? Because we're looking for those people. We're looking for the people who think shouting is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your throat.
Stewart also promised to have some signs available at the rally, since he understands everyone usually has shit to do. He held up a few of them, with messages like "9/11 was an outside job" and "I Disagree With You But I'm Pretty Sure You're Not Hitler."

And what would a Jon Stewart rally be without his partner-in-crime. Thankfully no one will have to find out, as Stephen Colbert announced during the Colbert Report that he will be leading the "March to Keep Fear Alive" on the same day at DC's National Mall.

The "March to Keep Fear Alive" is Colbert's attempt to beat back Stewart's reason, and keep the "truthiness" flame alive. Now this will be great, and I wish I could go. But sadly, for financial and medical reasons I can not be there.

But if someone who does go wants to write a guest blog about it, after it is over, let me know.

More Proof Glenn Beck Is Totally Insane
By: Steve - September 16, 2010 - 8:30am

This is unreal, on 2 different Glenn Beck shows this week he compared his lame 8-28 political rally to these things:

1) The first flight at Kitty Hawk
2) The end of WWII
3) The Ten Commandments
4) The end of slavery
5) The Apollo 11 flight to the moon

Wow, is he insane. It was a lame political rally with 87 to 96 thousand right-wing Beck and Palin lovers, nothing more, nothing less. Nobody even cares, except for Fox news and the Republicans who went to the rally. It will not be remembered by anyone, except Beck who keeps talking about it.

And if anyone thinks the Beck rally was equal to any of the 5 things he mentioned, please get some mental help fast, because you are insane.

Beck Joins O'Reilly Guilt By Association Tour
By: Steve - September 15, 2010 - 8:00am

O'Reilly is on a media tour with his guilt by association smear on the NY Imam, simply because the man knows a 9-11 truther. So of course his buddy Glenn Beck has his back.

This whole thing is ridiculous, and nothing but a made up right-wing smear job, by O'Reilly and Glenn Beck. They are smearing the NY Imam simply because at one point in his life he knew a 9-11 truther.

Imagine if you were linked to everything someone you knew did, like if they thought 9-11 was an inside job, then by association you also get linked to what they think, it's just insane. This is what O'Reilly does, as he claims to be a real journalist with no bias and a no spin zone, frankly it's laughable to call him a journalist.

O'Reilly should be getting his checks from the GOP he is so biased. Not to mention it is flat out crazy to link someone to what a person they know thinks.

Glenn Beck Continues The Fear Tactics
By: Steve - September 14, 2010 - 9:00am

Remember when Beck denied he is using fear tactics, well here is more proof he was lying. How can you say American will not continue as a country much longer and not be using fear tactics. Basically Beck is saying that if Obama and the Democrats are not stopped, the world is going to end.

But when he fails to mention, is that Bush caused 80% of the debt we have, and yet, he blames it all on Obama. Then claims the country will end if Obama is not stopped, when it was Bush and the Republicans who got us into the mess we are in now.

That is using fear tactics, because it's flat out fear for no reason. America will continue as a country, and everyone knows it. So Beck is a fearmongering right-wing idiot.

Beck/Palin Promoter Says 9-11 Date Is A Coincidence
By: Steve - September 13, 2010 - 9:00am

And if you believe that you need to contact me now, because I have some valuable swampland to sell you.

Many conservatives and right-wing groups are making plans to use the 9/11 anniversary to rake in some cash. Among them are Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, who are teaming up for a rally in Anchorage, AK. They are charging people between $74 and $225 to hear them speak. And, the AP reports that promoters for the Palin/Beck rally are trying to downplay the 9/11 profiteering:
Event promoter Christopher Cox says the 9/11 date is just a coincidence. Cox said he originally planned it for Sept. 4th, but didn't want to compete with the Alaska State Fair.

Cox said Beck will be introduced by Palin, who he claims is a potential 2012 White House contender. Palin spokesman Doug McMarlin would not return requests for a comment.
If you believe the 9-11 date was just a coincidence, you are either very stupid, or a total right-wing kool-aid drinker, or maybe both. Beck and Palin are using 9-11 to make money, after Beck said in the past that it was wrong to use the day for political or monetary gains. And guess who has not said one word about it, the great so-called journalist, Billy O'Reilly.

Beck & Palin Using 9-11 For $225 Meet & Greet
By: Steve - September 10, 2010 - 10:00am

What matters most to Glenn Beck on September 11, the ninth anniversary of the Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks?

Making money. And it's not just Glenn Beck, Stupid Sarah is cashing in too. They will be marking the anniversay of 9-11 with a high-priced political event in Anchorage, Alaska. Tickets for this 9-11 circus go for $73 to $130, and that's not all folks.

There's also a $225 meet-and-greet with Beck and Palin, so Beck fans can wish him a happy 9-11 in person. If there is some irony in cashing in over 9-11, that seems to have eluded Beck and Palin. Palin wrote this on her Facebook page:
PALIN: We can count on Glenn to make the night interesting and inspiring, and I can think of no better way to commemorate 9/11 than to gather with patriots who will 'never forget.'
What's funny is that Beck, O'Reilly, and a lot of other Republicans have said in the past that nobody should use 9-11 to make money, or use it for political reasons, which is exactly what Beck and Palin are doing. Making them the ultimate hypocrites, not to mention con artists who are taking advantage of the people who are dumb enough to pay for this joke of an event.

Beck has a lot of fans, and to him they are all nothing but ATM machines. He does everything to make money, and he has no problem selling the people who admire him overpriced gold coins, surivial seed banks, Food Insurance kits, none of which they need btw, and almost every Beck event is designed to make Beck more money.

That's why Glenn Beck made $32 million last year and Sarah Palin made $12 million in just a few months. Basically, Beck and Stupid Sarah are open for business every day, 365 days a year, including the 9-11 terrorist attack anniversary.

And the best part is what the spokesman for the event had to say, he said Beck and Palin did not know it was being done on the anniversary of 9-11, which is beyond laughable. And may be the worst explanation in the history of mankind. How can you not know an event on Saturday 9-11 is not the anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. If they had any integrity they would cancel the event and have it another day, but they don't, so they will do it and make money off 9-11 like the slime they are.

Napolitano & Doocy Admit Beck Rally Was Political
By: Steve - September 10, 2010 - 9:30am

On the September 7 edition of Fox & Friends, Judge Andrew Napolitano described Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor rally as a "political gathering," laughably claiming that Beck's rally was the "largest gathering in American history."

Later in the show, host Steve Doocy also admitted that Beck's rally was, indeed, a "political gathering."

This is shocking because Beck took great pains to stress that his rally would not be political. Even though the claim was clearly ridiculous: The event featured the divisive tea party idiot Sarah Palin, it was organized by Dick Armey's FreedomWorks, and it was financially supported by some Republican members of Congress.

But, now that the rally is over and we've seen the partisan shots taken by speakers at the event, I guess Fox News figured it was safe to drop the lie that the Beck rally was not political.

Beck Talks God While Religious Groups Attack Him
By: Steve - September 3, 2010 - 11:30am

At his Restoring Honor rally, Glenn Beck said this: "America today begins to turn back to God. For too long, this country has wandered in darkness." Beck sounded like Billy Graham, according to Rev. Richard Land, a prominent Southern Baptist leader.

The next day, on Fox News, Beck morphed his so-called non-political message into a stinging political attack against President Obama, claiming the President's worldview was shaped by "Marxism disguised as religion."

Beck attacked Obama as "A guy who understands the world through liberation theology, which is oppressor-and-victim. People aren't recognizing his version of Christianity."

Ironically, while Beck is casting stones at President Obama and his faith, his own faith is one that many Christians view as a perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Beck, who is a converted Mormon, was raised in a Catholic home, and he has been attacked by many evangelicals who say he is not a Christian because of his Mormon beliefs. In fact, via Christian Newswire, here's a press release that one evangelical group sent out during Saturday's Beck rally:
Glenn Beck promotes a false gospel. However, many of his political ideas can help America. Mormonism is not a Christian denomination but a cult of Christianity. Many endorse false gospels including Mormonism.
Brannon Howse, a conservative writer and founder of Worldview Weekend, said, "While I applaud and agree with many of Glenn Beck's conservative and constitutional views, that does not give me or any other Bible-believing Christian justification to compromise Biblical truth by spiritually joining Beck."

"Jesus Christ's Church has universally rejected Mormonism's Anti-Trinitarian theology and its claim that mortals may become God," David Shedlock, an evangelical blogger, wrote on a FreedomWorks forum earlier this month.

"Beck asks Christian leaders to 'put differences aside,' but Beck himself daily peppers his broadcasts with Mormon distinctives because he cannot keep his beliefs to himself."

Beck often speaks about faith on his radio show and Fox News program, but he almost never mentions his own faith, Mormonism. Bill Keller, the leader of the world's largest interactive Christian website, said earlier this year, Beck "lies to people by trying to portray himself as a Christian."

"The fact is, the beliefs of the satanic Mormon cult are totally inconsistent with Biblical Christianity," Keller said. It's politically convenient for Beck to be attacking Obama's religion, while rarely ever mentioning his own.

Glenn Beck Is A Nut Case
By: Jim - September 2, 2010 - 8:30am

This Beck guy is a real nut case...Just read his Wikipedia biography.

As a quick psychological profile, it explains so much about him as a textbook megalomaniac (including his study of another one...Adolf Hitler, in which I can see similar tactics being leveraged from Hitler and his minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels as far as the cult of personality and the strategy of rallying the disenfranchised in society to his cause. Beck even owns his own media company to get the dogma out there.

I’m convinced that Beck's also a racist. I just viewed a Youtube video clip where he is watching a speech by President Obama and refers to it as something from the "Planet of the Apes".

Further...this Tea Party political movement has certain extremist undertones that reminds me of the brown shirt thugs of early Nazi Germany, or the Red Guard in China in the mid 60's. To me it's the Taliban faction of the Republican Party. Who are they trying to kid saying they are not?

The Tea Party is nothing more than the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" propaganda model on steroids and meth that claims to be unaffiliated with the GOP. The sad thing is...racists and anti-government/tax morons (anti-infrastructure idiots really) want to believe it and want to see it disrupt our nation simply because collectively, I believe that these people are nothing more than a similar strain of racist, ignorant, insecure and jealous people of Nazi Germany.

I don't like what I'm seeing at all with this...Especially when Beck is calling it a restoration of honor and holding it on that same day and at the same location that Martin Luther King gave his remarkable "I have a dream" speech about tolerance and inspiration. Beck said that it was "just a coincidence" that his mob is rallying today. He's a liar and doesn't know what the word honor means. If he was truly honorable and true to his convictions, he would tell it like it really is...That he is a racist, that he love's fame, power and is keeping a close eye on his growing fortune.

Beck is nothing more than Limbaugh 2.0. Another selfish, unethical, well-paid republican pawn in it for the buck I think, more than the message.

This movement and the weak economy is not a good combination. Again, it reminds me in some key ways of the fledgling Nazi movement in Germany during the 1920's, and similar conditions in other nations throughout world history that later experienced significant political upheaval that led to totalitarianism, loss of personal freedoms, and the persecution of those that have opposing perspectives or worse, different racial and cultural backgrounds.

Lastly...what really burns me to the core is that both Beck and Limbaugh in all their patriotic fervor didn't have the guts and conviction as young men to volunteer and serve honorably in the United States Military as I did along with millions of others who are members of the Democratic Party which they despise. For that...as an American Military Veteran...I piss on both of them as cowards along with the other hypocritical chicken-hawk pussies like Gingrich and Cheney that mindless fools in our nation listen to.

Bush and his poor "tone at the top" along with Greenspan empowered the Gordon Geckos of Wall Street to f___ the world up financially and W's poor leadership choices prevented the CIA from getting Bin Laden when they had him within their grasp (read Jawbreaker).

Obama inerited this mess, and is man enough to try to fix it. The sad thing is, it takes effort, trial and error and time, just like everything else in life. The naysayers that got us here in the first place would just hate to see him succeed, now wouldn't they? Why? Because their name and party wouldn’t be on the signature line and just perhaps because he's not completely white. As if that really matters. I'm a white male. My wife is asian, My great kids are both. So what?

In summary: F___ the neo-cons.
