Glenn Beck sure loves to slam President Obama when it comes to online gambling, but when the Casino Mogul Sheldon Adelson Supports Newt Gingrich Glenn Beck is as silent as a mouse.
Las Vegas Sands Corporation Casino Mogul Sheldon Anderson is telling friends he’ll do what he can to make sure the surging GOP presidential candidate has the money to succeed.
This would follow years of Adelson’s generosity to Gingrich's political and nonprofit efforts that included seven-figure checks to the political think tank that returned Gingrich to the policy arena after his fall from House speaker in the late 1990s.
“Sheldon has always loved Newt. He stuck with him through all of this,” says Fred Zeidman, an Adelson friend and major player in the American Jewish community.
Zeidman said that Adelson told him that he wanted “to give Newt Gingrich all the support he could possibly give him as long as he was in the race.”
Adelson also loves Glenn Beck, last November, Adelson appeared on the stage of the Zionist Organization of America to present Glenn Beck with a ”Defender of Israel” Award. And said this about Beck: “I’d never known a Christian Zionist like Glenn Beck."
And btw, Beck and his right-wing friends claim this is a free country, but people like Beck still oppose online gambling even if it would bring in a massive amount of tax revenue to the Government and help to cut the debt.
Beck Admits Most Of What He Says Is Nuts
By: Steve - July 15, 2011 - 9:30am
In a strange way Glenn Beck admitted that most of what he says is nuts, but even the admission was nuts. Because he said 80% of the people who listen to him on the radio think what he says is nuts.
Here is what he said:
Which is just crazy, because I would bet 98% of the people that listen to him believe everything he says, and do not think any of it is nuts. So even when he admits most of what he says is nuts, he does it in a crazy way. And the other 2% are probably just people who listen to see what crazy things he is saying.
Beck Takes Ridiculous Fear Tactics To New level
By: Steve - June 25, 2011 - 10:30am
Ask yourself this, how crazy is Glenn Beck. Listen to this audio, and you will find out how crazy he is:
Wow, Beck is a lunatic. He actually told a new staffer that if he exposes certain things, they will kill you. Really? Who will him him. It's just ridiculous, mostly because nobody cares what Beck or his staffers expose, because almost all of it is a lie.
It's just one more example of how Beck is crazy, and a liar, because nobody is going to kill anyone for what he does, because nobody really cares. Not to mention, it's Beck's fans that try to kill liberals, not the other way around, no liberals are grabbing guns and driving to kill Beck, or any conservatives.
Beck Says You Should Vote For Herman Cain
By: Steve - June 19, 2011 - 9:30am
To begin with, Beck has said he is not a Republican, and that he does not endorse any candidates. So then he says Herman Cain is a man you could vote for, which is endorsing a candidate, and of course he is a Republican. And btw, you have never heard Beck say any Democrat is a man you could vote for, he only says it about Republicans.
On his Wednesday June 8th show, Beck said this:
And now you are probably asking yourself who the hell Herman Cain is. And I will yell you, not only is he a Republican who is running for President, he is a far-right lunatic who has said things like this.
On Monday Cain gave a speech to the conservative Iowa Family Leader, during the speech he got a lot of applause, but the crowd's most enthusiastic response was when he said to control the Border we should build a wall, like the great wall of China, and also add a moat full of alligators.
Yes he really said that, here is the quote:
CAIN: I just got back from China. Ever heard of the Great Wall of China? It looks pretty sturdy. And that sucker is real high. I think we can build one if we want to! We have put a man on the moon, we can build a fence! And that's not the only crazy thing he has said, he also said this:
Back in March, Cain burst onto the presidential scene when he said he will not appoint any Muslims in his administration. And that is not all, he also said he would not sign any bill that was more than 3 pages long. Which means no bill would ever be signed, because every bill ever passed was more than 3 pages long.
During his speech for the Iowa Family Leader, Cain was especially concerned with the length of the bills that pass and get signed by the President. So Cain promised the audience that as President, he would never sign any legislation that is longer than three pages.
CAIN: Engage the people. Don't try to pass a 2,700 page bill. I am only going to allow small bills - three pages. You'll have time to read that one over the dinner table. Now think about that for a minute, this is the nut that Beck said you could vote for, and he even had him on his show to promote him, to help him get known, and to help him get his message out.
Beck said this on November 30, 2009:
"I just gave an interview just the other day, where people said 'so you're going to be endorsing candidates?' I said not over my dead body will I be endorsing candidates."Credibility? What credibility, Beck has no credibility with anyone but a few far-right loons.
So not only is Beck endorsing the guy, he is trying to help him by giving him free air time on his tv show. And he does all that after saying a million times that he is not a Republican, and he does not endorse any candidates.
Scam Alert: Beck Says Change Can Happen For $4.99
By: Steve - June 10, 2011 - 8:30am
So now we know the big secret, Glenn Beck is going to start his own online TV network, called Glenn Beck TV, or GBTV. Here is what he said about it:
So you can change the world for simply giving Beck $4.99 a month, and if you believe that, send me $3.99 a month and I will change the world for a cheaper price.
Insanity Alert: Beck Claims Water Is The Next Oil
By: Steve - June 7, 2011 - 9:30am
Beck is now predicting that water is the next oil, and he even told his listeners to buy farm land with water on it.
And if anyone believes that insanity, you need a check up from the neck up.
Beck Admits What He Says On The Air Is Crap
By: Steve - June 1, 2011 - 8:30am
For once, Beck actually told the truth. During his Monday show he asked his viewers this: "How many in the audience are spooked by half the crap that I say on the air?"
So basically he is saying that he says crap on the air to spook people. Which is what I have been saying he does for years. Thanks Glenn, for admitting you are a lying fearmongering con-man, and for helping prove me right.
Insanity Alert: Beck Tells Town To Reject FEMA Help
By: Steve - May 25, 2011 - 9:30am
If you wanted 100% proof that Glenn Beck is out of his fricking mind, here it is. Beck said he "Would love to see devastated town tell FEMA Trucks, we don't need you."
Wow, is that insanity or what. The town is destroyed and Beck tells them to reject help from the federal government. What person in their right mind would even think of such a thing after a disaster, nobody, except Beck, and he is not in his right mind.
When your town has been destroyed you do not reject help from anyone, ever, unless you are insane. And to even suggest it is crazy. In fact, to reject help from anyone would be crazy, and that is exactly what Beck is, crazy.
Beck Wants You To Pay For His Bogus Rally
By: Steve - May 15, 2011 - 8:30am
Glenn Beck, the guy who dishonestly makes $33 million dollars a year, wants you to pay for his lame rally. Beck plans to have a so-called restoring courage rally in Jerusalem, and he says it will cost $5 million dollars.
On his ridiculous radio show Monday Beck told a caller they should take up a collection to help him pay for the bogus rally.
To begin with, that is most likely a lie, and if you suckers donate the $5 million, or part of it, most of it will probably go into his swiss bank account.
Ask yourself this, how come Beck does not pay for his own rallies, and since they are usually billed as raising money for charity, do you not understand he writes it all off on his taxes.
So not only are you suckers paying for a multi millionaire to have a rally, you are helping him use that money to get a tax break. Basically, he is playing you like fools.
Beck Now Claims President Obama Is Anti-Cop
By: Steve - May 10, 2011 - 9:30am
And what is the evidence of such a claim, the fact that Obama invited the Rapper Common to the White House. Yes, Beck is an idiot.
Beck said this: The Common White House invite is part of a "Pattern" that "Clearly" indicates Obama "Is Anti-Cop." And he wonders why his show was cancelled. Duh!
Folks, if you needed more evidence Beck is a dishonest right-wing joke, this is it.
Beck Calls Obama Trip To Ground Zero Obscene & Crass
By: Steve - May 5, 2011 - 9:30am
Glenn Beck has once again proven what a dishonest joke of a right-wing partisan fool he is, by slamming Obama for his trip to ground zero, after he had Bin Laden killed.
On his ridiculous radio show Thursday, Beck said Obama's visit to ground zero is a "crass, obscene, victory Lap."
How the hell is it obscene and crass for the President to give a speech at ground zero after killing the man who caused the 9-11 attacks, it's ridiculous, and it just shows what a right-wing idiot Beck is, what is obscene and crass is Beck slamming the President for his speech at ground zero.
Now ask yourself this, if Bush had been the President when Bin Laden was killed, and he made a trip to ground zero for his victory lap, do you think Beck would call that Obscene and crass, of course not. Beck would praise it, and probably even go to the Bush speech and do a live report from it.
This is why nothing Beck ever says can be believed, because he is a partisan hack with double standards and massive hypocrisy. If Bush was doing it Beck would probably spend the whole day praising what he did, but when Obama does it, somehow in Beckworld it's obscene and crass, give me a break.
Moron Alert: Beck Predicts More Violence
By: Steve - April 30, 2011 - 9:30am
Once again the great Glenn Beck is predicting violence from the left, even though he has predicted it a hundred times before, and it never happened, he is doing it again.
This time Beck claims that students supporting Mexican American studies in Arizona will turn to violence, he even claims it will happen from people like this.
Which is just ridiculous, because they are non-violent liberals who are against wars and do not even get into fights, or any violent actions.
Beck and the right even call them limp-wristed liberals, so now they are suddenly violent, it's a joke, and Beck is an idiot. Not to mention, most people wait until there is violence before they slam someone for it, Beck is doing it before anything happened.
In fact, if you believe anything Beck says you need to look in the mirror and have a reality check on yourself, because you are a fool.
Beck Makes His Most insane Statement Ever
By: Steve - April 26, 2011 - 8:30am
I thought I had heard it all from Beck, but I guess not. On the Friday 4-22-11 Glenn Beck show he said this: "The Plot to Create Obama's Octavian Empire is Based on the Willingness To Kill 25 Million Americans."
And to be honest, I have no clue what the hell he is even talking about. Because it was so crazy nobody would buy it. I just know it was so ridiculous I could barely watch him say it without falling off my chair laughing.
It looks like Beck is going out with a bang, and insane bang.
Beck Really Goes Off The Deep End This Time
By: Steve - April 21, 2011 - 9:30am
It's official: Glenn Beck has totally lost it. In his latest radio show he said a New Hitler is rising with help from Turkey, and that you should buy food insurance instead of saving your money.
And what a shocker, one of his very few sponsors sells food insurance. Here are some clips of what the idiot said:
Referencing Genesis, Beck Advises Listeners To Spend On Food Insurance Rather Than Save Money.
Listen up folks, Glenn Beck is a con-man, nothing he says is true. You may think it is, but if you check into what he says at a real news source you will see that he is a liar.
Glenn Beck is using the right-wing fools who watch and listen to him to do 2 things, get rich and famous. And it worked, because as they say, a sucker is born every minute. And anyone who watches him, or listens to him is a sucker, you are being played.
Santorum Hops Aboard The Beck Crazy Train
By: Steve - April 18, 2011 - 8:30am
Now this is funny, it's like dumb and dumber, or the blind leading the really blind. Now the far right loon Rick (Man on dog) Santorum has joined Glenn Beck in saying the Communists and Islamists are working together to take over the world.
Beck and Santorum made their insane statements on the Beck radio show on Thursday:
And that is prediction number 127 that will not come true, it's just more ridiculous fear tactics from the right, and the only people who will believe it are the fools that listen to Beck.
Matthews: Beck Now Claims To Be Paul Revere
By: Steve - April 8, 2011 - 9:30am
Now this is funny, Beck now claims to be the modern day Paul Revere, which is just laughable. And Chris Matthews nailed Beck good on his show Thursday.
What's really funny is how Beck thinks he is the new Paul Revere, when nothing he ever said or predicted came true. Not to mention, he did not warn anyone about anything that ever happened, so he is delusional, and I can not wait until this clown is off the air.
And btw, Chris Matthews gave Media Matters all the credit for Beck being taken off the air at Fox. And while they most likely had a little to do with it, Beck was taken off the air because of Glenn Beck, and the color of change advertiser boycott. So I would give all 3 of them a little of the credit, but he was mostly dumped because of Glenn Beck. It's his own fault, and there is nobody to blame but Glenn Beck.
It's Official: Beck Is Gone From Fox News
By: Steve - April 7, 2011 - 8:30am
As I wrote Wednesday, it looks like Beck is gone from Fox at the end of the year. Think Progress reported this on Wednesday, and it is being reported all over the internet now.
After weeks of rumors about poor ratings and increasing concern at Fox News headquarters over Beck's apocalyptic ranting, it's finally official - Glenn Beck is ending his daily show on Fox. An announcement posted on his website today, but then taken down without explanation, said this:
Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck's production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News digital properties. The statement did not indicate an end date for the show.
Beck entered the year without one-third of his earlier audience. Only months into his show, advertisers began deserting his program, and pressure by liberal groups resulted in a loss of nearly 300 advertisers during the course of his show.
Last month, Fox News officials told the New York Times anonymously that they were "contemplating life without Mr. Beck."
The Times also reported that "many on the news side of Fox have wondered whether his chronic outrageousness - he suggested that the president has 'a deep-seated hatred for white people' - have made it difficult for Fox to hang onto its credibility as a news network."
And that seems like a reasonable concern. Just yesterday, Beck said this:
-- Union leaders are communists, socialists, or revolutionaries who want destruction of western way of life.Beck's rants earlier this year, in which he tried to connect uprisings in the Middle East to a rising Islamic takeover, abetted by liberal groups in the United States, even provoked the ire of fellow conservatives and Fox personalities like Bill Kristol, who characterized Beck's rants as "fearfulness unworthy of Americans."
And yesterday on his radio show, Beck foreshadowed this announcement by telling his listeners that if he left Fox News, "don't you ever believe that the liberal watchdog Media Matters caused a victory."
Maybe that's true, because only Glenn himself is to blame for creating a show so radically divorced from reality that even Fox News had to get rid of him. The only person to blame for Beck getting dumped by fox, is Glenn Beck.
It Sure Looks Like Beck Is Leaving Fox
By: Steve - April 6, 2011 - 9:30am
I am starting to believe this will be the last year for Beck at Fox, for a few reasons. Ratings, conspiracy talk, bad predictions, and Beck is even saying if he leaves Fox do not think Media Matters had anything to do with it.
On his Tuesday radio show Beck said this: "If I Leave Fox, Don't You Ever Believe That Media Matters Caused A Victory"
And one last thing, Fox has to get rid of Beck before 2012 because it's an election year and they do not want him to be the face of Fox News, because it ruins any credibility they might try to get.
You can also bet that if he goes at the end of the year Beck and Fox will say in public that Beck decided to leave, when we all know Fox fired him.
Beck Compares Obama To Quran Burning Idiot
By: Steve - April 5, 2011 - 8:30am
If you ever wanted proof that Glenn Beck is a total right-wing idiot, here it is, this is a joke, and yet the radio stations continue to let this fool spew this garbage out.
In the audio Beck Compares the Obama Policies to Those Of Quran-Burning Church, he says this: "I Don't Know Which One Is Going To Get Us Killed Faster"
What's really sad is that a lot of people lost their lives in Afghanistan because this right-wing idiot burned the Quran. And Beck attacks Obama, which is ridiculous, because he should be attacking the idiot who burned the Quran.
Not only that, Beck is defending the idiot, and saying it was not his fault those people were killed in Afghanistan. Huh? It is, because the guys who did the killing said they did it because of the idiot who burned the Quran.
Beck Claims The Left Is Working With Terrorists
By: Steve - April 4, 2011 - 9:30am
If you ever needed hard evidence that Glenn Beck is a 100% right-wing liar, here it is, now the moron claims the left is working with the terrorists. And where is his proof, he has none, all he has is a couple right-wing liars on to back up his claims.
This is not news folks, and it's not journalism, it's not even close. It's nothing more than 3 right-wing liars telling a fairy tale to make the left look bad.
Glenn Beck opened his Friday show accusing the left of working with terrorists. He never got around to proving that claim, but he and his guests turned to a closely related topic, fearmongering about the United States increasingly coming under the influence of Sharia law (all this occurring, of course, with a Democratic President in the White House).
They claimed that shariah "is the biggest threat to our constitutional rights over the next 25 years" and that polygamy will destroy the institution of marriage in the U.S.
Unsurprisingly, both guest turned out to be far right Republican activists. Daniel Pipes was President George W. Bush's nominee to the U.S. Institute for Peace. Pipes was also an adviser to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign.
Pipes has even pushed the lie that President Obama is a Muslim. He has also lied about NASA's supposed "surreptitious" outreach to the Muslim world.
Pipes has also complained about the fact that Muslims have been winning beauty pageants, writing: "They are all attractive, but this surprising frequency of Muslims winning beauty pageants makes me suspect an odd form of affirmative action."
Beck's second guest, Christopher Holton of the Center for Security Policy, has his own links with the Republican Party, having spoken at campaign events for the party. Holton has previously argued that NPR is "successfully influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood" in response to NPR's decision to sever its ties to Juan Williams.
But the great Glenn Beck was the most radical of them all. At one point, even Pipes refused to accept Beck's theory that the 12th imam was the Antichrist. And that's a whole different story, Beck claims the 12th imam is the Antichrist, wow, and if you believe that garbage you need professional help.
Beck Predicts Economic Collapse (Again)
By: Steve - April 1, 2011 - 8:30am
Now get this, the massive liar Glenn Beck (who has not been right on any of his past predictions) is now predicting an economy collapse again, for the 100th time. And he is also predicting the stock market will crash.
It's all insanity, because the economy is improving, and getting better each quarter. The DOW is over 12,000 and going up, so Beck is lying. The only bad things right now are high gas prices and higher food prices, in Beckworld that spells economic collapse.
Listen up folks, Glenn Beck is a liar, nothing he says ever happens. He just uses fear tactics to get rich and famous, and that is the bottom line. Beck is a fraud, a con man, a fake, he is not a journalist, and he does not tell the truth.
Just to show you what a partisan right-wing hack Beck is, think about this, during the 8 years under Bush, when the economy was actually collapsing, not once did Beck predict an economic collapse, not once. Because Bush is a Republican, and Beck did not want to try and smear him like he does Obama. And btw, anyone who watches him is helping to keep the liar on the air, everyone should stop watching Beck and go get some real news from a real journalist.
Beck In Denial About His Show Failing
By: Steve - March 31, 2011 - 9:30am
On his Fox News show Tuesday, Glenn Beck suggested that the efforts of the Jewish Funds for Justice and Media Matters to "accelerate Beck's decline" are not working because "the lights are on" in his studio. He even mouthed loser while talking about the Jewish Funds For Justice.
Beck's Fox News program has lost over 300 advertisers, he has lost more than 1 million viewers over the last year, his radio show has been kicked off various stations including ones in New York and Philadelphia, and there is a possibility that Fox News executives are reportedly contemplating life without Beck. Not to mention the rumors that he might try to start his own network.
To date, StopBeck.com has recorded over 300 sponsors that have dropped their advertisements from Beck's show.
In a September 29, 2010, article headlined, "Being Glenn Beck," The New York Times highlighted the difficulty Fox News experiences in finding advertisers for Beck. The article stated that "Beck's show is known in the TV sales world as 'empty calories,' meaning he draws great ratings but is toxic for ad sales."
Beginning February 9, 2010, the UK broadcast of Beck's show ran without any ads. It was only until February 7, 2011, shortly before the first anniversary of the show, that a handful of advertisers returned. However, the show has run without any ads since February 18.
His show has lost more than one million viewers over the course of the past year, falling from an average of 2.9 million in January 2010 to 1.8 million in January 2011. He now ranks fifth among Fox's six weekday talk hosts, trailing lesser-known personalities like Shepard Smith and Bret Baier.
Beck's three-hour radio show has been dropped in several major cities, including New York and Philadelphia, and has seen a ratings decline in most other markets.
During the week of March 7, Freedom Watch's Andrew Napolitano hosted Beck's show while Beck was on vacation. For those four rated days, the Napolitano-hosted program averaged 1.83 million viewers. The week prior to that, the Beck-hosted show drew an audience of 1.98 million, which meant there was just an eight percent dip in the audience while Beck was on vacation.
One Wisconsin Radio Station said this about the show: Beck's Show Is "Unacceptable For Broadcast." WTDY issued the following statement: "Over the last 12 months, the show has devolved into plugs for Fox News (the radio version of which is aired by our direct competitor), his books, and other personal endorsements. The lack of actual content becomes more apparent daily. Monday's program was the final straw; his unabashed deriding of Madison is unacceptable for broadcast in our community."
In a March 22 article, The New York Times Brian Stelter reported that Glenn Beck has considered taking over a cable channel or expanding his Insider Extreme Web service, should Beck not renew his contract with Fox News at the end of this year.
The article went on to quote a Fox spokeswoman who, when asked about Beck's contract, said, "it's not up until December," but declined to comment further.
Beck Radio Show Dropped By 4 More Stations
By: Steve - March 28, 2011 - 9:30am
Buckley Radio, a national chain that aired Glenn Beck's program on six stations in three states at the beginning of 2011, will soon have him on only one.
Four of Buckley's five Connecticut stations are the latest to dump Beck's radio show. This week, the chain announced Beck would be removed from WDRC-AM, WWCO-AM, WSNG-AM, and WMMW-AM, which simulcast the same programs.
The fifth Connecticut station, WDRC-FM, plays classic rock music and did not air Beck's show.
"I am making the change in programming to address the Talk of Connecticut listener's desire for more locally originated program that feature Connecticut issues," Eric Fanhoe, Vice President/General Manager, Buckley Radio of Connecticut, wrote in an e-mail Thursday.
The move comes nearly three months after WOR Radio, Buckley's flagship station in New York, dropped Beck in early January. At that time, WOR executives replaced Beck with a local veteran host.
WOR Program Director Scott Lakefield told the Daily News of New York at the time that, "The reason is ratings. Somewhat to our surprise, the show wasn't getting what we wanted."
Buckley, which has 17 stations nationwide and 11 in California, will continue to broadcast Beck only on its lone California talk station, KNZR-AM in Bakersfield.
Beck Once Promoted What He Now Calls Economic Terrorism
By: Steve - March 26, 2011 - 8:30am
Tuesday Glenn Beck attacked a plan presented at a small left-wing convention to pressure the financial system with strikes and civil disobedience as "economic terrorism," but two years ago Beck's show heavily promoted the idea of withholding taxes and breaking the law in the process.
On the May 28, 2009, episode of Glenn Beck, Beck had an interview with actor Craig T. Nelson who told Beck he was "really thinking about" not paying taxes anymore because "there are programs that they're asking me to fund that I refuse to fund."
Later in the program, discussing programs for "saving the sea otters," Nelson said that "people who want to save them should pay for them" and asked,"if I don't want to save the sea otters -- is that anarchy?"
Beck responded: "No! This is America." He added, "I think you're the first person I have heard that is expressing the way I feel that you get to a point where, enough, I'll go to jail. I will go to jail before I pay you another dime for this insanity."
The following day, Beck replayed the Nelson interview, and went on a rant prefaced with the warning that "I am not advocating that people should not pay their income tax," quickly followed by, "let's just say a million people don't pay" their taxes.
Beck followed up his speech with a segment with Dr. Keith Ablow, citing internet commentary approving of Nelson's idea. And of course he failed to denounce any "economic terrorism."
So basically in the world of Glenn Beck, it's great when Republicans want to do it, but when Democrats want to do it, somehow it's economic terrorism.
Glenn Beck Denies Reality Of MLK History
By: Steve - March 23, 2011 - 9:30am
On his Monday March 21, 2011 radio show Glenn Beck mocked AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka for saying that Dr. Martin Luther King lost his life while fighting for the rights of public union workers.
BECK: Madison is just the beginning, AFL-CIO chief Richard Trumka told a union rally in Annapolis on Monday. Madison is just the beginning; you ain't seen nothing yet, he says. The message?FACT: King was shot while in Memphis to support striking municipal workers, and in his eulogy honoring King, Benjamin Mays -- King's mentor and friend -- spoke of King's dedication to "fighting to get a just wage" for workers.
Dr. King Spoke On Behalf Of The Memphis "Public Servants" In His Final Speech, "I've Been to the Mountaintop" delivered the day before his assassination. Here is a partial quote from the actual speech:
KING: The issues is injustice. The issue is the refusal of Memphis to be fair and honest in its dealings with its public servants, who happen to be sanitation workers. Now, we've got to keep attention on that. That's always the problem with a little violence.Delivering a eulogy honoring King, Benjamin Mays, a mentor to and friend of King, and then president of Morehouse College, said this:
Though deeply committed to a program of freedom for Negroes, he had love and concern for all kinds of peoples. He drew no distinction between the high and low; none between the rich and the poor. He believed especially that he was sent to champion the cause of the man farthest down.So once again Glenn Beck has been proven to be a giant idiot, who simply lies his ass off about history, and pretty much everything else.
Beck Now Claims Obama Is Sympathetic With Terrorists
By: Steve - March 20, 2011 - 8:30am
Beck has really gone off the deep end on this one, now he is saying that President Obama, the President of The United States, is sympathetic to the terrorists.
Beck said this on his 3-17-11 Radio Show:
BECK: But here is - here is the point on that. I believe that's because he just sees us as the oppressor nation. He just sees us as a nation who is and has oppressed the Native Americans and, and the Muslim communities around the world. And so he's - he's - he's not with the terrorists, I'm not saying that, but he is sympathetic to their cause, which slows people down. You know what I mean? It's so crazy that even his far right co-host does not agree with him. Now think about this, President Obama has killed more terrorists than any President in history, even more than George W. Bush did.
He increased the troop numbers in Afghanistan, so they could kill more terrorists. He also increased the number of drone attacks, so they could kill more terrorists. Obama is killing terrorists at a steady pace, so how the hell could he be sympathetic to them when he is killing them in record numbers.
It's crazy, and Beck is just a lying idiot. If you watch him and believe anything he says, you are an idiot too.
More Bad Ratings News For Glenn Beck
By: Steve - March 18, 2011 - 9:30am
Last week Glenn Beck took a week off for vacation. In his absence the Beck show was hosted each day by Andrew Napolitano, except last Friday when Fox News interrupted Glenn Beck in favor of breaking news coverage of the earthquake and tsunami catastrophe in Japan.
And guess what, Fox did just fine without him. In the wake of the recent New York Times report suggesting Fox News executives might be looking ahead to a lineup that does not include Beck once his contract expires at the end of the year, coupled with Beck's soft 2011 ratings, news that Glenn Beck basically drew the same numbers of viewers without Beck as the host probably isn't good news for him.
Not that long ago when Beck was off work and didn't host his show, the ratings reflected that and a smaller audience tuned into Fox News at 5 p.m. But not last week.
For those four rated days, the Napolitano-hosted program averaged 1.83 million viewers. The week prior to that, the Beck-hosted show drew an audience of 1.98 million, which meant there was just an eight percent dip in the audience while Beck was on vacation.
And during the entire month of January, Beck averaged 1.76 million viewers, his worst month ever.
Considering that Fox News finds it impossible to find a single nationally recognized advertiser who's willing to be associated with the program, and the fact that the channel might be able to get roughly equal ratings without Beck, there might be the possibility of a Beck-free lineup in the future.
If I were Beck, I would save my money, because if Fox dumps him he is done on tv.
Beck Now Claims Advertiser Boycotts Could Destroy Him
By: Steve - March 17, 2011 - 8:30am
On the March 16th Glenn Beck radio show he said advertiser boycotts could destroy him by the end of the year.
Which is kind of odd, because in the past he has said the boycotts mean nothing, and he even brags about still being on the air despite the boycotts. Now he suddenly says the boycotts could destroy him by the end of the year.
I do not have any facts to back this up, but here is my opinion of what Beck said. I think Fox has told Beck they will only keep him on the air for the rest of 2011, and then they will can him. Not to mention his massive ratings drop. Then he will claim it was a left-wing plot to get him fired, and for once he would be right.
But if they do fire him, it will be mostly his own fault, for saying all the crazy stuff, the lies, and the insults to everyone, including President Obama. Beck has proven you can get rich and famous saying crazy things and telling lies, but that only lasts so long before the game is over. And he did it because there are a lot of suckers on the right who believe his nonsense.
As I said, this is just my opinion, it's a total guess. I think Fox will get rid of him by January of 2012, because it's an election year, and they do not want him making them look bad. And I can also say is I hope I am right, because America would be a better country with Beck off the air. He makes all Americans look bad to the country, and the world.
Beck Uses Japan Earthquake To Sell Food Insurance
By: Steve - March 16, 2011 - 9:30am
Beck drops to a new low, after saying God sent a message with the Japan earthquake, now he is using the disaster to sell food insurance.
Now the only question is, when will Fox get tired of this nonsense and take Beck off the air.
Beck Claims God Sent Message With Japan Earthquake
By: Steve - March 15, 2011 - 8:30am
As if you needed more proof that Glenn Beck is just a lying con-man, that uses crazy conspiracy talk to get ratings, here it is. Now the crazy Beck is saying God caused the Japan earthquake to send a message. Here is some of the insanity:
Following a lengthy discussion involving the Japanese earthquake, bond markets, unrest in Libya, and a man who was killed trying to photograph the tsunami in California, Glenn Beck said that he's "not saying God is, you know, causing earthquakes," then clarified that he is "not not saying that, either," then added:
BECK: Whether you call it Gaia, or whether you call it Jesus, there's a message being sent and that is, 'hey, you know that stuff we're doing? Not really working out real well.' Maybe we should stop doing some of it.Earlier in the discussion, Beck said this: "I'm not saying that Jesus is coming, I'm just saying things are changing. The world, I mean literally, the world is moving under your feet. I mean, could there be a bigger sign than -- oh, by the way, I mean, in casual conversation somebody said, 'did you hear the earth moved off its axis?' No."
His co-host added, "Japan moving eight feet is astounding."
Time magazine's Alex Altman also said these latest Beck comments could be enough for Fox to finally dump him:
ALTMAN: The comment isn't that surprising, I suppose; Beck has made a fortune sussing out conspiracies most of us can't detect. And my personal opinion is this: What kind of heartless fool would even say such a thing right after a terrible earthquake. Not only is it offensive, it's wrong. Hey Beck, how about you wait at least a week or two before you make insane statements about an earthquake that has killed thousands of people.
New Republic Article Details Glenn Beck Decline
By: Steve - March 7, 2011 - 9:30am
In a March 3rd article, The New Republic outlines the decline of Glenn Beck's television career, citing his Fox News show's decrease in viewership of over one million viewers over the course of the past year.
Six months ago, Glenn Beck held his "Restoring Honor" rally on the National Mall, drawing a crowd of about 100,000. Newspapers and magazines featured the rally on front pages around the country.
The next month, The New York Times Magazine devoted a cover story to him. "In record time," the piece observed, "Beck has traveled the loop of curiosity to ratings bonanza to self-parody to sage."
Just six months later, however, Beck seems to have traveled somewhere else entirely. His ratings and reputation are in steep decline:
His show has lost more than one million viewers over the course of the past year, falling from an average of 2.9 million in January 2010 to 1.8 million in January 2011.He now ranks fifth among Fox's six weekday talk hosts, trailing lesser-known personalities like Shepard Smith and Bret Baier.
Beck's three-hour radio show has been dropped in several major cities, including New York and Philadelphia, and has seen a ratings decline in most other markets.
Eric Boehlert from Media Matters said this about Beck:
BOEHLERT: "It's hard to gain a million viewers, but it's really hard to lose a million viewers."Beck's fall contrasts with the fortunes of other Fox News hosts, like Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, whose TV ratings stayed solid throughout 2010.
What happened? Beck built a following by making outlandish, conspiratorial claims--about ACORN, Obama, and so on. But "anytime you have extreme stimulus," says Alexander Zaitchik, author of the unauthorized Beck biography Common Nonsense, "you'll have diminishing returns."
Beck, says Zaitchik, was caught "in a vicious circle": To keep viewers coming back, he had to keep creating new, more intricate theories.
Last November, in a two-part special that indirectly invoked anti-Semitism, he accused liberal Jewish financier George Soros of orchestrating the fall of foreign governments for financial gain.
During the Egyptian Revolution, Beck sided with Hosni Mubarak, alleging that his fall was "controlled by the socialist communists and the Muslim Brotherhood."
Beck is now warning viewers not to use Google, accusing the search-engine giant of "being deep in bed with the government."
In recent months, it seems, Beck's theories became so outlandish that even conservatives--both viewers and media personalities--were having a hard time stomaching them. Now, each new idea appears to be costing Beck both eyeballs and credibility. "At some point," says Boehlert, "it doesn't add up any more."
Hypocrisy Alert: Beck On Anti-Jewish People
By: Steve - March 5, 2011 - 10:30am
Now this is ridiculous, Glenn Beck is one of the biggest anti-Jewish people in the country. He has made numerous statements that have offended almost every Jewish person in America. Almost every Jewish group in America has slammed Beck, and some have even called for him to be fired.
And then Beck makes a ridiculous statement about Richard Trumka, he said this: "I Would Bet That Fifty Percent Of Organizers Like Trumka Are Anti-Semitic."
Now to begin with, where is the evidence that Trumka and other union members are anti-Semitic. I was in a union for 17 years, and I never heard anyone say one bad word about any Jewish people, ever. If you make that claim you need to have evidence, and Beck has none.
If someone made a claim like that against Beck the first thing he would say is where is your proof, then he makes a ridiculous claim about Richard Trumka and other union members with no proof, none.
And second, it's like the pot calling the kettle black, because Beck is known to hate Jewish people. He proves it all the time by making anti-Jewish statements, sometimes he even later says he was sorry for saying it, but not always.
What Beck is doing is trying to divert the attention away from his anti-Jewish comments, to say the union people are anti-Jewish too. Which is just stupid, and he has no evidence to back up his claims. And this guy has a tv show, wow.
Beck's Ratings Are Down Again For February
By: Steve - March 2, 2011 - 9:30am
The February ratings are out and year-over-year Beck is down again, the most of any Fox News show.
He has dropped 26% in total viewers and he is down 32% with younger viewers. Compare that to last February when he had Fox News second highest rated show, behind The O'Reilly Factor.
Last month, he slipped to fourth. And if the person close to Beck is trying to claim that his lead-in of Your World with Neil Cavuto is to blame (despite the fact that it's really a different audience anyway) Cavuto is only down 13% in total viewers and down 15% with younger viewers.
So basically it's all Beck's fault, he has went so far off the deep end with his crazy nonsense that he is losing viewers at a rapid pace. In fact, a lot of Republicans are now speaking out against Beck, even they see that he is a fool.
Beck Calls Climate Change Advocate A Communist
By: Steve - March 1, 2011 - 8:30am
On the February 24th Fox News show, Glenn Beck listed 10 organizations that he claimed were both communist and sponsoring the Rally to Save the American Dream. One of these groups was 350.org, which advocates for solutions to climate change.
One of its co-founders, Bill McKibben, responded in a Washington Post op-ed to be published Tuesday:
My life as a communist actually began without me knowing it, on Friday(sic) evening, when Glenn Beck spent his program explaining about a "communistic" conspiracy that included 10 groups in America. One was 350.org, a global campaign to fight climate change that I helped found three years ago. He even put our logo up on his whiteboard - and next to it a hammer and sickle. As usual Beck is caught lying, in Beckworld anyone who does something he does not like is a communist. The man is a Global Warming advocate, in Beck's world that's being a communist.
